When Edward runs away from the troubles Bella's presence has made for him, Alice is furious. "How dare he ignore this wonderful opportunity?!" she asks. But, of course, tenacious Alice refuses to let this opportunity-for not only Edward, but her, too- pass them by. Even if it takes a year. . .or two.

Alma Stewart and Nara Paterson are no ordinary sixteen-year-old girls. They've got a secret, one they have to guard with their lives.

They move from their home in Australia to Forks, to see what life in America is like. They attend the local high school in their junior year, the equivalent of their school year in Australia, and notice the Cullens aren't exactly...normal.

Bella's still there, and - just a warning - Nara and Alma share a very close, serious romantic relationship. Hence the teen rating.

Just a note: This story is getting increasingly difficult, but I will try to update regularly...Edward is just so complicated!

This is a new idea that I'm toying with, but what if Edward came across Bella in the woods while he was hunting before her first day at Forks High?!?!?! The adult rating is a precaution for future chapters... you never what might happen!!!

Author's note: The first chapter originally contained no spoilers. The first two chapters had been written before the launch of Eclipse. However, this story, from the first chapter onward, will contain one or two small spoilers. I had promised I wouldn't incorporate anything from the third novel, but from what I've read, I can't avoid it. I have NOT betrayed any plot detail from Eclipse -- merely used the few traits of Victoria we had learned. I personally had the book spoiled by a friend of mine, albeit on my request. I used everything I learned from her to write this story. Nothing directly out of Eclipse. I can assure you that what I came to know before even attaining the book did not affect the story in any way. Again, I reiterate: No plot has been given away. By the time this story reaches Eclipse - era, I doubt you will need to fear for spoilers. However, I feel that it is only fair that I warn you some aspect of Eclipse is spoiled in this story.
