Heyloo my ducks.

First of all HAPPY HALLOWEEN for those who celebrate! Hope you all have a fun and safe night doing your halloween thing!

Also, for anyone doing National Novel Writing Month, I've set up a thread in the forum where we can all procrastinate together. You can find that here!

To business:

While most of you are doing an entirely spectacular job following the submission requirements, there are two rules that seem to be falling by the wayside a little bit more than usual.

- 6 - Stories must be categorized appropriately. Only put your story in one category.

- 10 - Only submit one chapter at a time. More than one story is fine, but only single chapters may be submitted at a time.

It's really frustrating to come across a story that would be easily validated - but the author submitted multiple chapters of the same story, or put it in umpteen categories. I'm sure it's frustrating for the people that ignore these two rules as well. When an author submits multiple chapters, they all get rejected. It's just so much easier for everyone if the rules are followed.

Thank you to everyone who has been following the rules, because it really, really makes our job so much easier and faster.

just wanted to say Happy Halloween :) i got into the holiday by carving a vampire pumpkin, dressing up, handing out candy, and watch the best halloween movie of all time-hocus pocus- with my friend, who happens to be a member of TA too ;)

okay i also wanted to say that because you were reminding us about rules-and even though this isn't a rule-on the forums i sort of wrote this thing on Good and Bad Summaries. it's pretty much becoming a problem on the site with writing a summary for your story, so it explains what not and what to do. go check it out if you think it will help :) http://www.twilightarchives.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=89

alice, you're amazing.

i carved my pumpkin as "Carol" from Where the Wild Things are, and then went to a party as a Wild Thing.

(no, i'm not fixated at all >_>)

My friend was a vampire though, she looked amazing! No sparkles though xD

aw that sounds so fun! i was a vamp for the last two years so i thought a witch was a change for me lol one girl in my school (on friday you could wear your costume to the high school) dressed up as max from where the wild things are-she had on a gray hoodie and made a crown. i thought it was funny. lol did you know you can get 'vampire sparkles' at Hot Topic?? they've made just about everything

If i'm going to actually spend more than five dollars on tights, I except them to be worth it.

Validating a ton of chapters takes time.

Someone submitting twenty chapters at a time in effect blocks the queue, making validation slower for everyone else, regardless of how many chapters they submitted.

I don't believe this rule will be changing in the near future.

I bought fangs at hot topic, but then I got braces!!! Doesn't that suck? I mean, the cullens might not have fangs, but they don't have braces either!!!! Such a waste of fifteen dollars... Fifteen dollars!!!

Another reason why it's only one:

If there's a problem in the first chapter and it can't be validated... then we have to reject all of them, reguardless. That means that until you get each of the chapters perfect, each subsequent chapter can't be validated. This makes a lot of pointless validating for us, and takes up a LOT of extra time.

And Iris is right, it won't be changing any time soon.

I'm so excited for New Moon! Ahhhh! I wish it were saturday, though, so that I'd be allowed to see the midnight premier ): still planning to go after work hopefully though!

No news that I know of... pretty sure things are staying calm and steady as of now (:

cool cool ;) omg-so i pre-ordered tickets for New Moon last Saturday for my friend and i, and everywhere around here was sold out for Thursday night, Friday Night, Saturday night, and Sunday! its sold out the whole weekend! i was lucky enough to find a Friday night showing still available but holy crow-if its all sold out just around here, can you imagine all over the world? insane!

I haven't pre-ordered yet because I haven't had the money, though I should have... I doubt I'll get in now. We'll see... -fingers crossed-
