New Design Sneak Peak!

Posted 24 Jun 11

I'm thrilled to invite you to check out a few sneak peak screenshots of the new design for TwilightArchives.com!

Here's the URL where you can find the screenshots:

http://stage.jack.sl/twilightarchives/

There's actually 5 screenshots in total. Just click on the image to progress onto the next image.

Please, please do let me know what you think! Tell me what you like, what you hate, what you want to see and what you don't. No detail too small, no request too large! With your feedback, we can make the new site totally awesome.

I know it's been pretty quiet around here and a number of bugs have been discovered, for that I'm very sorry. I really think you're going to be blown away with the new version of the site - I can't wait to get it in front of you.

Stay tuned!

No complaints! It looks absolutely AWESOME! This is the first time that this website has actually had a "Twilight" themed layout (as far as I know). It looks really goooood! Can't wait to see it up! :)

I've been having a major issue. Every time I try to upload a new chapter to my story I get the following message: A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: SELECT PENNAMEFIELD AS penname FROM DBPREFIXfanfiction_coauthors AS c WHERE sid = '8565' LEFT JOIN tafanfiction_authors as author AS a ON a.UIDFIELD = c.uid
Error: (1064) You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'LEFT JOIN tafanfiction_authors as author AS a ON a.UIDFIELD = c.uid' at line 1
Can you help me with this?

I would like to point out to the other members here the debacle that's going on at lotrfanfiction.com, and that Keith here is in the business of buying websites and turning them over for a profit and living wage for himself. It's quite a lot slower here than over there, and I myself have been gone from fandom and writing fic for just about as long as Kai has, but I thought I would point it out to you guys, so you have a chance to see what's going on before the wool's over your eyes completely. If you're interested, I would google his name. His blog comes up, along with an article about how he flips "undervalued" websites for profit.
