The three most common programs are Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, and GIMP. They're all pretty much the same, except GIMP is free :)

In the box where you edit your summary, there's a picture of a tree (in between the anchor and the broom/brush). Click that and another window will come up. In the box that says "Image URL," paste the URL for the image. You can find that by right-clicking your banner, scrolling down to properties, and copying the URL there.

i didn't get too write the cupcake one, so hectic the last few weeks of the challege! but i am hopeing for another challege, since its a way to get everyone on the site involved and social(that wasn't exactly the word i was looking for though

Ok, I'm getting extremely frustrated. Kayla Ariev made me an awesome banner for Pack Brother, and I put it on. It stayed there for a little while, and now all you can see is a little red "X" in a box. I tried re-pasting the URl in the Tree symbol under edit, but it won't work. Did I mention I did it like 6 times? Help! PLEASE!

Addictedtotwilight, you might want to switch image hosts then. Save the banner to your desktop then upload it to a free image host, such as imageshack or photobucket. That might work.

We don't have an image host... the last one gave us viruses. I might have to give up. Thanks anyway, though.

Not sure how an image host can give you a virus...Photobucket.com is a very secure site and is one of my favourites.

yeah, nothing happened to me on imageshack.us i actually like it better then photobucket. i never got a virus from it......but addictedtotwilight- maybe you could send it to somebody else to get a new url for you and then have them send that url back to you, it's an option

Try right clicking and copying the banner from where it's posted on myspace. Then, instead of using the URL, just right click and paste it into the summary box for your story. That's how I've posted all of my banners.

A new challenge... I'm up for that! I wonder what the topic would be... Maybe something like a story centering around a minor character, like Mike, Jessica, Angela and those people. Or maybe some random waiter that sees Bella and Edward in a diner somewhere! :)

The halloween idea would be cool, but how original can someone get with that idea? It wouldn't be a lot of fun to have the same story written over and over again. But hey, you guys are a whole lot more creative then I am :)

Halloween could be fun. But I agree with TheLionAndTheLamb. It would be hard to get creative on it. Something focused on the minor characters is always fun; the humans of Forks are fascinating. Or something on the history of one of the Cullens, or something on one of the relationships, or, well, the list goes on .

Yeah, I agree with TheLionAndTheLamb and Blonde Bella. You can't really expand on the idea of Halloween. Sure it could be fun, but what can actually happen that's original and creative? A story centering around a minor character would be fun in my opinion. There's so many options to choose from!
