100 Members -- New Challenge!

Well, I am very proud of you all. Today we reached 100 members! Actually, last night at almost midnight, we had 99 members, and now we have 101. It's wonderful! Twilight Archives hasn't even been active for a month yet! I'm so proud of those of you who are spreading the word (goodness knows I've been talking about it all the time) and getting new people to come and join. So I decided to have a little congratulation-present for everyone here.
The first Twilight Archives challenge ever.
Here's the thing. I don't really have any money I can give you as a prize. So here's what your reward will be -- shameless pimping. (In case you're not familiar, it's a LiveJournal term for "advertising".) Whoever wins first place (i.e. has the best story pertaining to the challenge) will get:
- Their name on the front page, with the "First Place Challenge Winner" description (name is a link to author page)
- All their stories on the front page with links to them, updated every time they add a new story
- AND...*drumroll* a free link to any website you wish, with a short description. Free advertising! This is a big deal, my friends.
Of course, there are certain rules and guidelines for that last little reward. You can't just link anywhere. As in, no porn sites (it must be worksafe). Or pay-per-click links. But in general, you can advertise your own site, or another one that you think is cool, without any problem. The purpose of this was to give people who'd read all the fics something to do with their spare time :)
Are you all excited and hyped-up now? I bet you're wondering what the challenge actually is. Seeing as I haven't told you yet, and all.
Write a story without using any dialogue at all.
Yes, I realize that's vague. That is the only requirement for a reason, believe it or not -- I want to let your creativity shine through! Write what you think fits the prompt, no chains on your writing hands!
Once you write something -- anything -- email it to me**. Don't post it here, or anyone can steal your ideas :) Alright? Do you think you can handle my challenge? Will you prove yourself worthy? And are you just dying to put up a link to some really hilarious site for free? Then write, my friends! Write!

Dose dialogue include talking in the mind? Like speaking to yourself or mind reading? just curious.

Two things: 1) You didn't list the email -- your email as the case may be -- that you want the entries emailed to, what is is so that I can follow the rules precisely? 2) Since the only restriction is "no use of dialogue" then can i take that to mean it can be of any rating from everyone to explicit? (I'm not sure whether this will matter in what I write, but it's always best to know!) Thanks! I'm excited about this and hoping by the time the challenge ends I can whip something decent up!

Well, if you didn't know my email you could still use the "Contact Us" link at the top of every page. But for everyone's information, it's "kaiwynn@twilightarchives.com". It can be any rating from Everyone to Adult, as Explicit is no longer allowed on this site.

Why was explicit taken away? My friend who is also on this site wrote an explicit tail that i thought was pretty good, but the day she was going to send it in you post that message. So what happened to make you do that?

Wait a sec...if you said that you were going to make a challenge every hundred members, then that means there should be another challenge now, because there are over two hundred members now!

Well, I'd thought I'd do it every 100 members, but I had no idea the site would grow that fast! It's a better idea to have a challenge, end it, then start another, don't you think? The next one will start tomorrow!
