Laying It Down
Posted 30 Jun 08
Let's break it down:
You sign in on your email account.
You have a new message from Twilight Archives.
Now, would you rather see that your submission was accepted or rejected?
Obviously accepted, unless you like being masochistic.
Please, for all of the mod's sakes, PREVIEW your submission beforehand.
Please, spellcheck and grammarcheck before submitting.
Please, PLEASE format all line and conversation breaks.
Please, make sure your submission are MORE than 500 words. Don't try tricking us by entering various line breaks to fool us into believing that your story is long. We manually word-count EVERY submission.
Please, resize all art to 600x800.
Please, when submitting chat/IM conversations as a chapter, they have the same rules as normal chapters, ie. more than 500 words.
Please, put author's note in the box specified for it. Do not, I repeat, do not make chapters with only an author's note.
Please, don't waste our time our your time by submitting things that have NOTHING to do with Twilight or its characters. If you're just going to type a few nonsense words, don't even bother to submit it.
I'm sorry if I'm coming down hard, it's just that it's frustrating opening submissions to find them in dissaray. Simply preview. Please.
It's really not that hard.
PS. For the authors I beta, can you please email your stories to me again? My inbox was deleted completely. :[ (firstname.lastname@example.org)
