LYK OHEMGEE ITS THE BRYAN STEALTH VIDEO EXPERIENCE LIVEE! HARDYY HARR.!!
Okay, sorry. I'm done. Band camp humor has officially pretty much destroyed my brain.
I actually do have a purpose for posting this, though. I know that I haven't been on much recently (band camp from 11-8 monday-friday really takes a huge chunk of time out of your life), but I'll be on more frequently now. I'm going to camp from 4-8 now... so that leaves the mornings/afternoons and weekends for me to validate.
Thank you all for being so patient and bearing with us when we're all extremely busy.
And thank you for following the submission rules and making things easier on us mods. The number of submissions I've had to reject has decreased dramatically since I started volunteering here. So, good job guys. I'd give you a cookie if I could.

gabby; ahhh! good luck! :D

I understand completely! Band takes up practically your whole life. XD It is totally worth it though.

Ahh, glad I'm not in band. Just all honors classes and tennis practices/matches after school everyday. There need to be more hours in the day.

oh_gravity: it doesn't just take up your life, it BECOMES your life. lol. but, like we both said, it's worth it. colorguard got 3rd place in our spirit competition yesterday, and that made me happy (it was halloween spirit day, each section had to pick a thing and dress up like it.. we did harry potter... I ended up being Goyle. It was... interesting.) Blonde Bella: Indeed. Honors classes alone take up enough time (I'm in all honors, as well).

glad i'm not in band. its hard enough starting highschool as a freshmen with all honors or AP classes. There's never enough time for everything and riding my horse and lacrosse practice

Soccer, Band, and all honors. Plus updating on here of course! Gotta love band camp though. Band=Life.

Jacobblackforever: mmm.. freshman. that was an interesting year. you have AP classes as a freshman at your highschool? we don't have AP classes until 11th at mine, except for social studies which we can take AP for the first time in 10th. Katlynn_Hale: Band camp? LOVE BAND CAMP? As much as I love colorguard, and as much as I loved the flute when I played... I would never say anything along the lines of LOVING band camp. Band camp has got to be the worst thing ever. Haha.... but yes, band = life for me, as well.

gah school starts next week! Freshman year in high school...*shudders* (a class of mine doesn't even show up on the effing map!) i'm going to be a loser holding my map up to my nose the whole entire passing time.... anyways, because school is starting, less updateing for me will occur (even if i am still on Hiatus). you can find out details on my LJ

Yes, band takes up your whole life. We have practice every day after school, too, and then Friday nights are football games... I'm so tired of it already. But this is my last season, so I'm trying to enjoy it. We don't have AP classes available at my school til 11th either... I wish they started earlier. I could have taken a lot more if that were the case! I'm so excited for college next year... and jealous of you guys that are already there! Have a fantastic first year!

I am so glad that I am graduated from college and not in school any more ... there were good times, but it was always so hectic and busy. Post-school life is much nicer ... at least, I think so.

True, true. Become your life it does. So you're in guard? I play clarinet. :P Hehehe you were Goyle? That's rather great.

addictedtotwilight: Same schedule as my marching band, only we have a lot of competitions on Saturdays and Sundays, and we're playing a few parades (like some stupid Polish Parade in a city near where I live). Plus, we play at a flyers game. :] Kayla Ariev: Oh, how I wish I was completely done with school. I'm definitely not one for hectic situations.. I like a little peace in my life. oh_gravity: Yep, I'm in guard. I play the flute, but I quit last year because the BD was terrible (now I only have to put up with him minimally 'cause he's too fat to walk up the hill to the field we practice on). And yep, I was Goyle. The girl who got Harry Potter nailed it, though. She was awesome. Haha. We only got third place... I think we were jipped! awsomealice94: Yucky. School starts Tuesday for me (which I guess IS next week.. hmm..). And trust me, you won't need the map as much as you think. I go to the biggest high school in my area, and I thought I was going to get so lost, but the teachers are great with helping you and once you get the hang of your schedule it's super easy.

I only have to say one thing... you guys are all so lucky that you haven't started school yet. We started school on August 13, and we've been in school for like 3 weeks almost. All the Band related humor is funny.... see I'm a band/choir/music teacher and it's funny to see what people are saying about it. Have a great year and Keep it musical! (Geez that's cheesey huh?)

Brooklynd Paige: My dream job. Lucky. Yeah, but, you get out earlier than us, too. We don't get out until June 18th. And the funny thing is, any band/choir related jokes that I know came from my choir teacher.
He's the kind of choir teacher that parents hate because of his sense of humor.. The one program guide for a concert was like "Please silence all cellphones, pagers, beepers... and babies."
The babies was a joke (kind of), but some parents got really pissed. I found it funny. Haha On a colorguard note: My first show tonight... eek! I'm running on no more than 5 hours of sleep, too... for some reason I fell asleep around 11-12 and I woke up at 5 and couldn't fall back asleep.. I'm badly coordinated enough as it is. I better go try and get some more rest before I try and toss a flag... (I'll end up hitting myself, or worse, other people).

I guess I'm more lucky in a way, because we get out of school on May 22 (which is a full week later than last year). Silence the babies, that is a funny joke. I agree... Actually my Vocal Coach said something like that at my senior vocal recital when I was in college. I almost didn't make it through my first aria from laughing so hard. crazy question J3nn are you wanting to teach music too or I am understanding your dream job wrong? Do Good tonight... Break a Leg (I'm kinda good luck a phobic).

I can say one thing: Sorry Jenn but I'm so busy right now (along with a desire to kill myself) with school. PLUS THOUGH: My art history teacher is OMG DROOLWORTHY. I will try to help out as much as I can this weekend :D

Brooklynd Paige: Yep, I really want to teach music, too.
And we did... terrible. But no one noticed. Haha. It was fun. But rainy, and slippery. AND HOT. argh
gabby: Ohh it's no problem. I understand.
And a droolworthy teacher? I think I'll stick with tim rozon. he's the only man I've ever drooled over. haha.

j3nn that's awesome that you want to teach music! Teaching music has been something that has made my life all worth while and I really enjoy doing it (most of the time- when my students truly understand and get it). Better luck next time on your performance!

Gotta love band camp, right? Ours ended today... thank God. And, it's my last one before I graduate... yay! Although, mine's just highschool, and I don't know if you're talking college. Either way, sounds like the same thing.
