I haven't heard back from either Kaiwynn or Gabby (so a huge sorry to both of you if you wanted to help pick the winners!) so I figured I'd post the winners. Many of you are getting a little impatient, and I'm sorry for the wait.

Once again, sorry for the delay, and thanks to everyone who entered! :] Congrats to the winners... every single one of you who submitted something deserves a cookie.
On another note, that free time that I was talking about starting next weekend isn't going to happen. My school's football team made playoffs, so as long as they're in the playoffs, we're still performing. The validation schedule will remain chaotic and sporadic, though I've been trying hard lately to get on daily. Hopefully that'll continue, but we'll see.
Keep the rate of submissions up, guys! It's great to see so many of you writing lately. Just remember - read the submission rules before submitting. Specifically, remember the rules about the word count minimum for stories and the size limit for art.

yay! thats like the first time i've gotten any type of challenge award. i'm happy :) thats definatly a confidence booster. i think i'll do the next challenge too :)

Well, not SUPER soon.. but in a month or two. Maybe for Christmas we'll try and come up with a fun one? Who knows... haha. Thank you for entering this one, though. :]

gah- why couldn't i have saved my idea for Christmas???! LOL what about a thanksgiving challenge???christmas seems so far away (even if it snowed here today-nasty Michigan weather)

Thanksgiving is a day here in America where people celebrate everything that they have, no matter how little or small. They 'give thanks' for their family, and items, and recognize that people all over the world have it worse than them. It's a nice day, with lots of food (Turkey is traditional) and family time. A thanksgiving challenge.... I don't know. It was hard for me to follow this past one... but we'll see. Keep an eye out, and I'll think about it, because I'm pretty sure I'll be only one running it, still...

Thanks for the offer; it's very much appreciated. However, I don't have the authority to recruit anyone to help with anything in reguards to the website. I'm holding up just fine, but the problem is I don't have time to run contests regularly.
I can't guarantee anything... in fact, right now my answer is almost definitely 'no'. Keep an ear out for any updates, however, and if you really want a challenge, enter the Novel Novice challenge. A link can be found on the home page.

yea exactly! all of the forests and lakes make it like forks and when its fall/winter/sometimes spring it can get really cold (in winter like in the negatives) and when it rains it looks exactly like Washington... i looooovvvveeeed the first place winners story! AMAZING JOB this post is so random lol HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

=D Thank you so much!! I'm sorry to hear you're busy. Trust me, I can relate to you. My class is entering a Latin song sontest that will take place in November, and we've been practising our song all week. My head will explode from all the boom boom soon xD I detest house music.
