Chapter 8: Honeymoon

By: Eternitys_Charm

The cab pulled up into our driveway and beeped signaling that he had arrived.

"Well I think you two best be off, don’t waste your whole honeymoon time visiting the old man." Charlie said, hearing the cab, with a wide wrinkly smile on his face.

"Aw, dad, I love being here with you. I miss Forks." I said walking over to give my dad, who had stood up, a hug. "I love you dad, please come and visit us up their soon."

Tears filled Charlie’s eyes, "Sure thing Bells." I let go of Charlie and he went a gave Edward a hug goodbye. "Thank you so much for taking care of my little girl, actually I can never thank you enough, Edward."

Edward smiled, "thank you Charlie. Your daughter is in good hands."

"Of course she is." Charlie sighed, "well you two be off, have a nice time where ever you guys are heading off to."

"I don't know where Edward is taking me dad." I said with a grimace.

"I’m sure it will be nice, Bella."

"Thank you Charlie," Edward said.

"Bye, dad." I said exiting the house’s door.

"Goodbye Bella." Charlie said with another of his wrinkly smiles, "goodbye Edward."

Edward opened the door for me waved goodbye to Charlie and swept me off from my feet, "Well madam our honeymoon destination awaits." He said in a arousing manner.

Edward propped me up to the cab’s backseat. It was nice and toasty in there and the seats were a lot newer then the last taxi we had been on.

"Where to?" The cab driver, who this time had no accent, asked Edward and I.

"To the airport please," Edward said handing the man an a hundred dollar bill.

The man smiled in pleasure and revved the engine out into the streets. I looked around, everything seemed the same as I had seen it years ago. Nothing changed much in this little town. The same store was still there, old and in need of a painting, the same people were there, too. I managed to see Mike Newton with a girl holding hands, I smiled seeing my old good friends.

I looked at Edward who kept glowering at Mike’s retreating figure. I placed my hand on his cheek and pressed a soft peck on his lips. He smiled.

The cab drive was faster then I expected, I was so into seeing the sights I had missed that I hardly felt the drive there.

"Here we are," the man said stopping in front of the main entrance to the airport.

"Thank you," Edward said handing the man a fifty dollar bill this time. I rolled my eyes at Edward and walked through the airport doors.

Edward trailed behind me with our two small suitcases.

"Now where?" I asked Edward looking at the signs.

Edward chuckled and quickly placed that evil blindfold over my eyes, once again. I huffed. "Not again, Edward, honestly." I said getting annoyed with the mystery of our honeymoon spot.

"Honestly, Bella, I just want some secrecy. I want it to be a surprise."

"I don't like surprises," I reminded him.

He ignored me and pulled my hand to who knows what interval.

I sat patiently in the cab drive, my eyes still blindfolded.

"Are we there yet?" I asked like a small whining child.

"Almost." Edward responded kissing my forehead. "Be patient, Bella, I’m sure you’ll like it."

"Okay." I said and snapped shut.

"We’re here." Edward whispered in my ear.

"Yay!" I said in mock-enthusiasm when inside I wanted to burst with happiness.

Edward opened that cab’s door and carried me out.

I stood where Edward had left me for a moment, enjoying how the fresh air I felt on me. I could hear waves crashing against a shore and happy couples laughing happily. I could smell the nice saltwater around me. And feel the cool beachy wind against my skin.

"Edward," I began slowly, "how can we possibly be at a beach?" I asked in shock, realizing that we weren’t human.

"Relax, honey." Edward said releasing me from the darkness under the blindfold and showing me where we were.

There were trees surrounding a beautiful and peaceful hotel. The trees gave enough shade to cover us from shining.

"Where are we?" I asked taking in the beauty of the beach we were in.

Edward chuckled wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. "Bella, honey." He whispered in my ear so softly it lulled me. "We’re in the Philippines." He said.

I looked around, it all looked so tropical and lovely. Nice shady palm trees around the white and sandy beach. The nice clear blue water of the beach, and the soft waves. I took in a deep breath of the fresh island air.

"Lovely." I whispered dreamily.

Edward chuckled once more and pulled my hand into the hotel.

Edward checked us in and an attendant came around to take us to our room.

When we reached out suite I gently slapped Edward on his arm as I read the sign on the front door: "master suite"

"Only the best for my beautiful." Edward said with a heartfelt smile.

I couldn’t object, not to those pair of golden eyes and that gorgeous smile. And I didn’t want to, it was my honeymoon; I was suppose to enjoy it.

The first thing I noticed right away while entering the master suite was the lovely sea view we had from the room. I raced over to the sliding door and slipped into the balcony. I gasped as I saw how lovely it all looked, the crystal clear blue waters, the white sand, and the palm trees all looked so much better from that angle.

I stepped back knowing I sparkled. But no one could see us from there, so I stepped back into the sun’s rays and enjoyed the warmth of it.

Edward waited happily by the sliding doors, he didn’t want to interrupt my moment in the sun.

I walked back into the suite and sighed, "how lovely!"

Edward laughed, picking me up, and spinning me around. We landed softly on the cozy bed, "yes you are." He whispered softly in my ears.

I smiled and kissed his nose, "so are you." I said with a giggle.

"The sun is going down." Edward whispered looking out into the vastness of the beach at the big orange ball of fire.

Edward and I returned into our room in the hotel after we were done with our walk beside the beach beneath the stars.

Edward nudged my cheek with his nose as he opened the suite doors. I giggled.

I was about to walk in the room when Edward swooped me up from my feet and carried me to the bed, placing me gently on the soft mattress.

Edward knelt down in front of me and began to slip off my sandals wordlessly. I kissed his neck softly as he proceeded and took off his own.

I pulled Edward towards me and we both laid down on the bed.

"You make me so happy, like no one ever has, Bella. You changed me in a way that no one else could." Edward whispered between kisses, "You made me a better person, I learned to love with you."

At this my stomach made a full 360. "I can say the same to you, Edward." I whispered, my voice breaking because of how happy I felt.

He smiled and caressed my cheek.

And soon we both began undressing each other slowly, enjoying each moment we had between us.
