Esme, Alice, Rosalie, and I, now a vampire for 10 years, enter the night club that was hosting karaoke. We all had matching dresses and shoes: Black strappless sparkly long dress with rhinestone black high shoes. We sit down at our table in the front by the stage. "I'll go first." I said. Our men were off hunting so it was a girls night out. I go up onto the stage and gave the song to the DJ. The music began.

Anyway by Martina McBride.

You can spend your whole life building something from nothin'. One storm can come and blow it all away. Build it anyway.

You can chase a dream that seems so out of reach. And you know it might not ever come your way. Dream it anyway.

God is great but sometimes life ain't good. And when I pray, it doesn't always turn out like I think it should. But I do it anyway. I do it anyway.

This world's gone crazy. It's hard to believe that tomorrow will be better than today. Believe it anyway.

You can love someone with all your heart. In a moment they can choose to walk away. Love 'em anyway.

God is great but sometimes life ain't good. And when I pray, it doesn't always turn out like I think it should. But I do it anyway. I do it anyway.

You can pour your soul out singing. A song you believe in that tomorrow they'll forget you ever sang. Sing it anyway. Yea, sing it anyway. Yeah, yeah!

I sing.

I dream.

I love anyway.

I got a lot of claps and cheers. My family clapped the loudest for me. I came to our table, but Esme stopped me. "Do you want to do a duet with me?" Esme asked. "Sure." I said. Esme and I go up to the stage and Esme gave the DJ the song. The music began. Esme and I stood side by side.

Because of You by Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson

Esme:

I will not make the same mistakes that you did. I will not let myself cause my heart so much misery. I will not break the way you did, You fell so hard. I've learned the hard way to never let it get that far.

Both of us:

Because of you I never stray too far from the sidewalk. Because of you I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt. (Esme) Because of you I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me. (Both of us.) Because of you. I am afraid.

Me:

I lose my way and it's not too long before you point it out. I cannot cry, because I know its weakness in your eyes. I'm forced to fake a smile, a laugh everyday of my life. My heart can't possibly break when it wasn't even whole to start with.

Both of us:

Because of you I never stray too far from the sidewalk. Because of you I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt. (Esme) Because of you I find it hard to trust not me, but everyone around me. (Both of us.) Because of you I am afraid.

Esme:

I watched you die. I heard you cry every night in your sleep. I was so young. You should have known better than to lean on me. You never thought of anyone else. You just saw your pain and now I cry in the middle of the night for the same damn thing.

Because of you I never stray too far from the sidewalk. Because you I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt. (Both of us.) Because of you I try my hardest just to forget everything. Because of you I don't know how to let anyone else in. Because of you I'm ashamed of my life because it's emty. Because of you. I am afraid.

Esme:

Because of you. Because of you.

I was smiling and had tears in my eyes, because its a touching song. We got a lot of claps and cheers. I whipped away my tears and Esme and I go back to our table. Alice and Rosalie were still smiling when we sat down. "That was awesome. You sing more often together." Rosalie said, as Alice headed up for the stage. I nodded right when the music began.

Georgia Rain by Trisha Yearwood.

Barefoot in the bed 'a your truck on a blanket lookin' up. Half a moon peekin' down at us from underneath the cloads. Teenage kids sneakin' out again, heard the thunder rollin' in. We were fallin' when it all came pourin' down.

The Georgia rain on the Jasper County clay. Couldn't wash away what I felt for you that day. Just you and me down an old dirt road. Nothin' in our way except for the Georgia rain.

Cotton fields remember when flash 'a lightnin' drove us in. We were soaked down to the skin by the time we climbed inside. And I don't remember what was poundin' more heart in my chest or the hood of that Ford. As the sky fell in, the storm clouds poured wolds away outside.

The Georgia ran on the Jasper County clay. Couldn't wash away all the love we made. Just you and me down that old dirt road. No one saw a thing except for the Georgia rain.

Screen door flappin' in the wind. Same ol' house I grew up in. Can't believe I'm back again. All these years away. You fixed your Daddy's house up nice. I saw it yesterday when I drove by. Looks like you've made yourself a real good life. What else can I say.

The Georgia rain on the Jasper County clay. Couldn't wash away the way I loved you to this day. The ol' dirt road's paved over now. Nothin's here's the same except for the Georgia Rain.

Alice got a lot of claps, because her singing voice was beautiful and she came back to our table. "Awesome. Good song choice." Esme said. Rosalie was up and heading for the stage. Four men entered the night club, but none of us payed any attention to them, because the music started.

Born to Fly by Sara Evans.

I've been tellin' my dreams to the scarecrow 'bout the places that I'd like to see. I said, friend do you think I'll ever get there. Ah, but he just stands there smilin' back at me.

So I confessed my sins to the preacher about the love I've been prayin' to find. Is there a brown eye'd boy in my future, yeah. He says. Girl you've got nothin' but time.

But how do you wait for heaven and who has that much time. And how do you keep your feet on the ground. When you know, that you were born, you were born to fly.

My daddy, he's grounded like the oak tree. My momma, she is steady as the sun. Oh you know I love my folks, but I keep starin' down the road. Just lookin' for my one chance to run.

Yeah, 'cause I will soar away like the blackbird. I will blow in the wind like a sea. I will plant my heart in the garden of my dreams and I will grow up where I'll wonder wild and free.

Oh, how do you wait for heaven and who has that much time. And how do you keep your feet on the ground when you know that you were born. You were born yeah. You were born to Fly.

So how do you wait for heaven and who has that much time. And how do you keep your feet on the ground. When you were born. You were born to fly, fly, fly, fly.

Hey.

Ooooh, ooooh.

Rosalie got a lot of claps and cheers as she came back to our table. I get back up and go back up to the stage. I gave the DJ what song I would love to sing and the music began.

A Real Fine Place to Start by Sara Evans.

I'm gonna do it darlin'. I could waiste time tryin' to figure it ou, but I'm doin' it anyhow. I've never been this far. Didn't knwo love could run so deep. Didn't know I lose this much sleep.

Then I saw Edward with Carlisle, Emmet, and Jasper standing in the back. All four of them were smiling. Esme, Rosalie, and Alice didn't notice them yet, because they were watching me.

Holdin' you close, chasin' that moon spinnin all night, lovin' just who you are. Sparks flyin' in the dark. Shootin' out lights, huntin' down dreams, figurin' out waht love really means. Baby givin' you my heart is a real fine place to start.

Edward's smile was getting wider. The rest of the girls finally figured out what I was looking at, but Emmet, Jasper and Carlisle weren't moving till the song was over.

Somethin' is goin' on, I can't explain but sure can touch. It's callin' both of us. Stronger than any fear or doubt, Its changin' everthing I see. Its changin' you, its changin' me.

Holdin' you close, chasin' that moon. Spinnin' all night, lovin' just who you are. Sparks flyin' in the dark. Shootin' down light, runnin' down dreams, figurin' out what love really means. Baby, givin' you my heart is a real fine place to start.

Right her, right now's the perfect spot, the perfect time. The perfect moment when your skin is next to mine.

Yeah, yeah. Holdin' you close, chasin' that moon. Spinnin' all night, lovin' just who you are. Sparks flyin' in the dark. Shootin' out light, runnin' down trees. Figurin' out just what love really means. Baby, givin' you my heart's a real fine place, real fine place to start. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh, oh, oh.

I ran all the way to Edawrd and we kiss, while every one clapped. Emmet, Jasper, and Carlisle go to their girls. Songs can bring the ones you love together in a perfect place.
