I thought when day's past,

My heart would eventually grow back.

Though, in the process

Of my grieving,

Thoughts of him were ever fleeting.

I turned into a shell of myself.

Would i ever stand again?

Would my heart ever mend?

That night, the words cut deep,

My breath let itself out,

And out with that breath went everything,

That

I

Thought

And

Knew.

I would

Forever be,

A shell

Without

Him

And his

Marble

Skin.
