“Girls, I want you to meet three wonderful men. Oh, and this one is mine, Jake,” Ally’s grin came into sight as we headed down the stairs. I wrenched my eyes away from her for a moment, only to look at five identically huge grins in the same room.

“Hey guys,” was the sultry response from all five of the women awaiting Paul, Embry, and Seth.

Ally’s POV:

I grinned at the sight of Seth, Embry, and Paul staring at the five women that I had gathered with not only curiosity, but also devout interest. This should definitely be interesting.

Flashback:

I could seriously not wait for my prego-yoga class. I kissed Jacob and told him I’d see him later, and got into the truck.

The seatbelt was getting a little tighter, so I loosened it and waved at him, before driving off. I got to the gym and looked around for the room where they were holding the class. I went up to the receiving desk and waiting for a moment.

The clerk was young, pretty and blonde, and talking on a Bluetooth attached to her ear. Her clean, manicured hands were typing quickly against the keyboard of her silver laptop. She looked up at me and smiled, holding up her index finger to telling me to wait a moment. I nodded—I was in a good mood today—and proceeded to tap my fingers against the counter, waiting.

“Yes ma’am?” She asked me, smiling with perfectly white teeth.

“I was wondering where the yoga class for pregnancy was being held? It starts in like, five minutes,” I said.

“Of course. Let me just check that,” she replied, opening an organized folder and moving her finger down the page, searching the numbers casually with her eyes.

“Hmm, oh, it’s in room 18, down that hall, turn right, and it’s the first door to the right.” She smiled at me, gesturing to the correct hallway.

“Okay, thank you,” I smiled back at her. She nodded, and then began talking to the Bluetooth again. I quickly waddled my way down to the room, pausing before opening the classroom door. It was a basic room, with large mirrors along one wall with several blue and purple yoga mats already lined up.

A few girls were already there, sitting on the mats and talking, probably waiting for the class to start. I put my bag down and walked over to where they were sitting, picking one of the mats and slowly lowering myself on it. It was so not easy being pregnant.

“Oh, hello,” one of the women turned to me and said. I smiled and introduced myself to the rest of them. I swear, none of them looked even remotely pregnant. How many months were they?!

Christy, Jane, Elizabeth, Michelle, and Carrie were their names. All five of them were really nice, and said they had been coming to these classes for a few weeks.

“I’m sorry, but none of you even look pregnant! How many months along are you?” I asked after the intros were over.

“Oh, we’re not…pregnant…” Christy said, looking confused.

“Oh! Oh no, you’re here for the pregnant yoga class, aren’t you?” Jane asked, her eyes wide.

“Yes, isn’t this it?”

“No, this is the regular yoga class. The pregnant yoga class is room 19!” Elizabeth replied.

“Ah crap!” I smacked my forehead. Dumb clerk.

“It’s okay, they’re probably still having class next door,” Michelle said softly, helping me stand up.

“It’s not worth it now,” I sighed. “I wanted to do one thing right, and I can’t even do that.”

“Of course you can!” Carrie said quickly, leading me to the door. “Come on, we’ll get you in. They can’t say no, I mean, you’re pregnant!”

Flashback over

So that’s how I and the girls met. This was three weeks ago, but now, every two days we met at the gym and took classes together. Just last Friday, we took a pot-spinning class… it wasn’t exactly my forte, but it was really fun.

“Boys, this is Christy, Elizabeth, Jane, Michelle, and Carrie. I met them at the gym and we’ve been taking classes together. Girls, this is Embry, Paul, and Seth. They’ve been our…family friends for quite a few years now.” I introduced them to each other quickly, hoping they would like each other.

For a few moments, there was nothing, while one group inspected the other group. I clutched Jacob’s hand and he smirked at me.

And then, they all started talking to each other. They made small talk and became familiar with each other, seeming to enjoy it. The look on the boys’ faces was the best. They were actually enthralled in the girls’ conversation, and I had never seen them pay attention like that.

I don’t really know if anyone imprinted, or who liked who, or really what couplings were being made, I just knew that they all seemed happy enough, so I considered my plot a success.

I grinned at Jacob and he laughed.

“Wow, this has got to be a record. Gotta call the Guinness Book or something,” he said while we got dinner ready to put on the table.

“What do you mean?” I asked, pulling the cover off the hot lasagna I made and set it aside.

“Record for match-making. You just pretty much hooked up three guys at once. Daang!” He whistled.

“Told you it was a good surprise,” I laughed and winked at him.
