I started running out of ideas so I just sat there doodling on a piece of paper I had found. And then I thought of a perfectly brilliant idea. I had to act fast before Alice caught me.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Should I have salad? No I had that yesterday… I had to be very careful as I walked up the stairs to Rosalie’s room. If I thought of anything suspicious Alice would know my plan. Maybe Alice already knew but didn’t care what I was doing in Rosalie’s room so long as I wasn’t touching her precious flip flop shrine.

Walking into Rosalie’s room was a lot different than walking into Alice and Jasper’s room. One wall in her room was covered with pictures of sports stars. Only later on did I realize those must have been Emmett’s. Two others were covered with black paint and the fourth had been plastered with posters of Ferraris and Porches. I didn’t pay much attention.

I was here for one purpose alone. If Alice and Edward had secrets in their rooms what could possibly lie in Rosalie’s?

While I was looking around for something unordinary I slipped. When I fell I crashed into a bookshelf. Of course all the books, what few there were, fell off. What’s a bookshelf doing in Rosalie’s room? Does Emmett like reading or something? I thought to myself as I got up.

Behind where the bookshelf had been was a door. It was what I had been looking for all along. It was time for Rosalie’s secret.

I turned the handle and ran in. Not a smart thing to do. I collided with a futon and tumbled to the ground.

Rosalie had a secret closet behind her bookshelf. It was huge but really not that surprising. I mean this was Rosalie we were talking about. Walking around I felt like a little kid who had fallen into her dress up box.

And then I saw it. It was a faux scarf. Brown. I put it on and walked out of the closet. It kind of reminded me of Jacob. And then I saw Rosalie’s fourth wall and it all clicked.

I could get in one of the Cullen’s cars and drive down to La Push at top speed. No one would be able to do anything about it once I hit the Quileute boundaries. I would be safe and Edward would forgive me as always. I hadn’t seen Jacob for a while now. This would be a perfect.

I ran down the stairs as fast as I could, trying not to trip over my own feet. At the bottom I crashed into the wall and kept running. Once I was outside I ran faster. I could see the garage now. I jumped into Edward’s Volvo and instantly noticed the keys still in the ignition. Lucky me. I thought to myself as I started the car, sped out of the driveway, and back into Forks.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

About ten minutes later I was past the boundary line. Only a few more moments until I’d see Jacob.
