Silently watching her empty casket near.

Waiting for them to recognize her

But prays not recognition for a murderer.

The choir's voices are replaced by the preacher's prayer

And they still do not notice her sitting there.

Her disguise still works for a moment until

Familiar eyes glue her still.

Shouts and screams of surprise and fright

Confirms her decision to escape into the night.

Enchantment sparkles her skin beneath moonlight

And beauty makes her a dazzling sight.

But nothing is worth the beauty and gleam

Her immortal life has crushed her dream.
