There was panic in my eyes, and I wasn’t the only one who could see that.

“What do you mean ‘they won’t believe it until they see it?’ what are we some kind of exhibit?” I asked Alice.

Instead of humor it turned into hysteria.

“Don’t panic, I told you I have an idea. You and Edward will pretend that you have the stomach flu. Walk, no run, to the bathrooms. Then I will escort you out of the cafeteria.” She said as she scrutinized my expression.

“That should be enough for the kids too see.” Edward nodded in agreement.

“Why do we need a plan to get out of school?” I asked.

I could tell they were ahead of me. Just the sudden information of more vampires coming left my brain a mess; I don’t want it to end up like it did last time.

“Bella, think about it. If we leave school with out a explanation, and then something goes wrong, not that it will, I can just hear the rumors take flight.”

He held my hand as he said this. I nodded. “Then once we are out of the cafeteria what do we do?” I wanted to here the rest of Alice’s plan.

“We will go to the office. The will let us leave, and from there we will go to our house.” Alice said

“Alright Bella, are you ready to act?” Edward said chuckling. I groaned.

“Alright, Bella run first Edward will fallow, and I’ll be behind you.” She directed me.

Here it goes, the show was about to start.

“I think I’m going to be sick.” I said loud enough for the table next to me to here. I could practically feel the eyes staring at me with concern.

I ran with one hand on my stomach and the other over my mouth. The cafeteria doors flew open as I pushed them. I was running through the annex now, the bathrooms were just a foot away.

Hopefully nobody was in them so I would have to act even further. Alice pushed the women’s bathroom door open for me.

Alice leaned against the wall; apparently no one was in here, to my relief.

“Good job. Keep it up for a couple more minutes.” She encouraged.

She held the door open for me again. I glanced behind me to see Edward acting just as I did; only I almost believed he was sick myself.

Oh no. Mike and Eric were coming through the annex with concerned looks on there face. It almost looked like a race; I can see it now, which person can help Bella to the nurse’s office first? That made me run even faster.

I could here Alice giggling under her breath. But when we were out of the cafeteria building, mike and Eric were no where to be found. They must have given up at the sight of Edward, thank goodness.

Edward was suddenly next to me, he winked as I smiled. Alice opened the door to the nurse’s office. A familiar smell of rubbing alcohol filled my lungs, and made my stomach suddenly feel queasy.

I slumped down in a chair as Edward did. I could here Alice talking softly to the nurse at the desk.

Alice was suddenly by my side; she took my hand, and turned to smile and wave at the nurse. Her smile left the nurse blinking in astonishment.

We were walking to the car now. We finally reached it and, to my surprise, Edward slid in back with me.

“Do you think they believed us?” I asked him. He held me in his arms.

“Oh yes, especially Mike and Eric.” He snickered. I rolled my eyes. Alice was driving really fast now, over a hundred. 2 minutes later we pulled up to the white house by the river.

We all climbed out of the car and Edward took my hand to lead me to the door. Esme opened it as Alice’s hand was outstretched to do the same thing.

“Edward, Alice, and Bella. Why are you not in school?” she eyed us disapprovingly.

“Alice saw others coming.” Edward answered quickly as we stepped into the house.

“Oh, dear. Shall we.” Esme said as she held her arms, gestureing out to the room with the piano.
