There was only one face I wanted to see right now, and that was Edward’s.

He was by my side in a flash. Tears started piling up in my eyes. It all started to fit together, and I suddenly realized I was going into shock, which I rarely did. But I guess anyone else would too, if someone predicted their own death.

I never wanted to leave Edward. I didn’t want to die, knowing that he would do the same to himself. It was unbearable to think about, even though I knew it was a possibility, one that I hoped would never happen.

“Bella, please don’t worry.” He plead.

His eyes were soft now, all trace of anger melted away with one look in my eyes, like the same for me if I looked in his.

“That’s-kinda-silly-to-ask-right-now.” I said, my voice breaking in between words.

“Have faith in me Bella, you are my life. I will let nothing hurt you. How many times do I have to say it?” he put his arms around me and held me close.

“I love you.” I said.

“I love you too, I will always love you, no matter what.” He promised.

That’s it. I couldn’t hold the tears in any longer. They just came streaming down my face. Edward picked me up and carried me to the room with the TV. He cradled me in his arms while sitting on the white sofas.

Finally, I calmed down. Then Alice ran into the room.

“It’s time to go, Edward. NOW.” Alice said.

Edward imminently lifted me up and walked to the door, leavening my heart to start racing once again.

We were outside now, going towards Carlisle’s car. I saw Alice put my bag, along with several others, into the trunk.

“I thought we were staying here.” I said.

“Plans have changed once again, Bella. We see, well, Alice sees them moving much quicker then expected. We are going up to Tanya’s family for a while, until they lose our trail.” He said grimly.

That deadly look was back in his eyes, I shuddered. It was almost eerie; I didn’t like my Edward with that look in his eyes.

He put me in the car and slid in after me, but moved me to the left side of the car towards the window.

“But why Tanya’s house? Couldn’t we go anywhere?’ I asked out loud.

“Fighting four others won’t be a problem, but we would like to have more on our side, just to scare them.” He replied.

Edward buckled me in and Carlisle was already weaving through the woods, onto the high way. Alice was next to Carlisle in the passenger’s seat, with Edward and me in back.

A question was occupying me of any other train of thought, but I thought it wasn’t the best time to ask it. I kept my mouth shut, like all the others around me. It was dark now, and the moon was hardly visible through the trees and the car’s black tinted windows.

I wanted so desperately to be back home, in my bed. I wanted Edward to be lying next to me, singing my lullaby. But I knew that that won’t happen for a while, it might not happen ever again.

Tears started again, but I didn’t let anyone see, although they could probably hear my un-even breathing.

At least Edward was next to me, it held a lot of comfort. My angel looked at me and trapped one tear that had escaped from my eye. I blushed, a little embarrassed.

I was not a cry baby, I hope he knew that, and I hope he knew that I loved him more then anything or anyone, and as I looked in his eyes, it looked like he was thinking the same thing.
