Moonlight flows in
Creating dancing shadows on the walls
Resulting with a placid effect
It calms the mind, the heart, and the soul
Never ending
Never breaking off
A tune plays
In this hauntingly still room
A sweet, enchanting melody
It intertwines with the love that
Once lived with a burst of light
In this very still room
A girl sits on the floor
Slumped over and broken
Her hair hangs limply
She swallows a sob
She is lifeless
She is the essence of grace, beauty, and darkness
The walls close in
The wind gushes through the open window
Where she watches for her one true love
Her head spins
Everything is dimming
Night falls rapidly
Is she alone?
