Awaken, My Angel

Clutching her sides, tremors raked her body.

No one could know... no one.

Another sleepless night, she knew, and why?

Forbidden love had bloomed, in the process,

Killing her.

The monster tore her up... would not let her forget.

Painless hours of memories that leave not a shattered piece behind.

Her life was stolen.

The key was gone... lost.

Her soul was taken.

All that was left barley shown.

Alive and dead.

Two kinds of the same.

Her ego was all that remained.

What life is there to live if no purpose is there to reflect upon?
