Let me take your hand in mine,

No matter decades nor eons apart,

But so yet, that time can not unravel,

And share what I have learned.

If this life is really worth living,

And the grass really greener on the other side,

Then what normality has bestowed us...

We choose to ignore.

We ask for more,

Guilty I am as well,

Than we get.

We shout,

Though consciously or not...

I need a miracle!

And what we grieve for has long since died and gone...

But the wakening emotion we forget about,

Guilty I am as well,

Is simply appreciation.
