As Lucid As They Are

Dreams of life,

I have no control.

As lucid as they are,

I remember only

What my emotions do.

Conflicting state of minds,

Never deciding,

Only fighting.

And yet, seemingly aware,

I talk my thoughts,

My listeners beware.

They end when they do,

Also known to my beau.

He sleeps no sleep to repair.

He’s my love,

Life’s despair.

Patience for me,

I do require,

But I need not,

For he won’t tire.

And so my dreams depict,

A love and life,

...Then why the crypt?
