“Alice how am I supposed to move in this dress?”

“Bella stop whining it looks great on you,” she encouraged.

“What If I fall? That has been known to happen to me on a regular basis.”

“Not when your holding on to either your dad or Edward now stop fidgeting!”

I couldn’t believe that in about an hour I would become Mrs. Edward Cullen, as I said it I shuddered and Alice stabbed me with a needle.

“Ow! Alice.” I whined. Luckily, I didn’t bleed.

“Stop moving and that wouldn’t happen.”

By now my hair was put into an up-do that took most of the morning even with two people working on it (Alice and Rosalie) and I still had no idea what it looked like because I was directed away from all mirrors in their house.

“There your make-ups done.” Rosalie said though I had no idea how she got lipstick on me with me talking so much. “Is the dress ready?”

“It’s perfect.” Alice responded while a smile formed across her face.

“Can I look now?” I wanted to know how I looked before I went out there into the Cullen’s yard.

“Fine. Bella you are so impatient.”

I turned and looked at the full length mirror and gasped. I looked like a model. It was a traditional wedding dress I presumed but with accessories from Alice. It was a long flowing dress with lace on what little bit of the front there was. The neckline plunged halfway down my stomach but didn’t reveal anything which was good. The train was about ten feet behind me. The veil was the same lace as the front of the dress and it was all beautiful, including the girl in it.

“What do you think?” Alice and Rosalie were on either side of me with eager eyes awaiting my answer.

“Oh my god! You guys! How did you do this?”

“Wait till Edward gets an eyeful of you.”

Charlie tapped on the door while opening it. “Hey Bells you might want to get out here Edward looks a little impatie—oh my god is my little girl under there somewhere?”

“Umm, thanks?” I looked at Alice and her and Rosalie were already exiting the room to catch up with Angela as they all walked down the aisle. Then I heard one of the scariest noises in the world—the wedding march.

“Now Bella, I just want to let you know that I love you.” I looked at Charlie and he was trying not to cry.

“Dad please don’t get all sappy on me.”

“Sorry I just want to make sure you know that.”

“I do dad and I love you too.” By now we were by the front door. Esme was there ready to open it for us and hug me tightly. She gave Charlie a hopeful look and then went to stand beside Emmett. All of the audience turned and stood all gasping at the same time. I was staring at Edward and I saw that crooked smile I loved and he winked at me. Walking down the aisle I concentrated on not falling. The walk was time-consuming and I would have to ‘thank’ Alice for that later. When I finally got to the front it took Charlie awhile to let go of me and then I was holding onto Edward and all my worry seemed to fade away.

“You look marvelous. Are you ready?”

“As ready as ever let’s go.” We finished walking up to Carlisle—well, he walked while supporting all my weight so that I wouldn’t fall, once again glad that he was remarkably strong. We made it up to Carlisle and he was beaming as if it were his own wedding. He went through what I guess is normal procedure.

Then, he got to the objections.

I didn’t think anyone would say anything until I heard the motorcycle. I saw Jacob get off the motorcycle and then he yelled, “Yeah I think I might object to that.”

I didn’t actually think Jacob would show up. I mean, I did send him an invitation but only out of courtesy. I didn’t think he would come to the home of his mortal enemy—my fiancée.

“Jake? What are you doing here?”

“I was invited wasn’t I? I’m sorry, er, Dr. Cullen, um I just came to talk to Bella.”

“Well, I’m kind of getting married Jake. Can it wait a few minutes?”

“No.” he muttered and then I saw a crack in is bravado façade. His eyes were just as warm as before Sam, before the werewolves, before our life was altered forever.

“Jake–”

“Go ahead.” I heard Edward say beside me as I looked at him I saw the calm expression but couldn’t exactly tell what was brewing underneath.

“This had better be fast Jake I was kind of in the middle of something.”

“It won’t take long I promise.” He dragged me out to where no one could see us having to catch me a few times, I staggered once but only because he was walking so fast.

“Jake what is it!?” I finally demanded. I didn’t want to keep Edward waiting and I didn’t want to fall and stain this beautiful dress.

“Come away with me.”

“What?!” I jerked my hand out of his. I was stunned that he would think that was still a possibility.

“I’ve been away from you for too long. I was lonely.”

“Jake, don’t do this. Please?”

“Bella, I love you. Doesn’t that count for something? Anything?”

“Jake, I need to get back to Edward. This is my wedding. This will only happen once.” While I’m human, I thought to myself but I didn’t add that. Though he still seemed to know what I was thinking.

“Not if he gets his way.”

“If he gets his way then I will remain to be human. Don’t you see Jake? I want to be a vampire. Edward doesn’t want me to be but it has to happen. The Volturi will come and if I’m still human when they come, I won’t be alive when they leave.”

“We could run away together. We talked about it before, can’t we do it Bella? Please?”

“Jake, Jake I love him. I always have. I love you too but, I always have loved him.”

“I wish I was good enough for you Bella. You don’t know how much this hurts.”

“You’re too good for me Jake, that’s the problem. I’m not good enough for you. And, yes I do. I always feel your pain, like you’re a part of me, and it hurts worse when I’m the cause of that pain.”

He grabbed my hand and kissed it, just the way I had before I left to Italy to save Edward, and then whispered, “Goodbye Bella. I’ll let you get back to your wedding now.”

He walked over to his bike; kick started it and flung mud while speeding off. Luckily, I didn’t get on my dress.

“Are you okay?” I turned to see Edward standing right behind me.

“Yeah. I will be at least.”

“Do you want to postpone the wedding?”

“No I’m already almost nineteen I don’t want to get any closer to that date.”

“I don’t want that to be the only reasoning for you Bella.”

“It’s not, I love you Edward and I want everyone to know your mine and only mine.”

“Okay.” He smiled and kissed me. “Did I mention you look remarkably beautiful?”

I smiled. “Maybe once or twice.”

Then, his face was serious again. “Are you sure you want to become my wife today, Bella?”

I hesitated and he seemed to like that I was obviously thinking of what to answer. I looked up at him and smiled, “Yes Edward I want to be yours today, tonight, and for all eternity.”

He smiled and we walked back over to our wedding. Carlisle looked at us and smiled when Edward nodded his head. The rest of the wedding went without falter except for when I was asked to say ‘I do’ and I forgot I was supposed to be the one speaking. My face turned the darkest shade of scarlet wondering if Rosalie put blush on me or knew that my natural blush would kick in. Then, Carlisle said, “You may now kiss the bride.” I tried to keep my hands from wrapping around his neck and melting myself into him, though I couldn’t have done it without Edward keeping my arms by my side.

After me and Edward successfully walked down the aisle we went inside to cut the cake and have the reception. Me and Edward danced to all the songs but one in which I danced with Charlie and Edward danced with Esme. By the time it was over my shoes had been off for hours, despite the frowns of Alice and Rosalie, and I was so tired Edward had to keep a hand on my waist so that I wouldn’t fall.

But after all our friends had left it was just our families left. Alice and Rosalie had a huge present in their hands that was from them, Emmett, and Jasper for us. I told them not to get us anything but we opened them anyway. Well, actually I opened them; Edward insists that I have all the human experiences I can, including opening wedding presents. They got us suitcases. I turned confused by the suitcases but I then I saw Alice jumping around.

“Thanks you guys, there very pretty.” I hugged them all and when I got to Rosalie she pulled me in and hugged me tighter then ever before and I wondered why she was acting so strange. But when I pulled away she had the same expression on her face as Alice did.

I turned to Edward but he was playfully glaring at Carlisle and Esme. Charlie, Renee, Carlisle, and Esme were coming at us all with the same look of eagerness on their face. I glanced at Edward but he was staring at Carlisle shaking his head. Charlie looked at me and smiled suspiciously, “Bella? Edward? We know you’re going to college to get smarter and all that stuff but we wanted you to let go and have fun first.”

They handed me a little box and I opened it and unwrapped the piece of wrapping paper. “Thanks Mom, Dad, Esme, Carlisle, but we really don’t need anything to remember you by; we’ll come back and see you.” It was plane tickets to London, for our honeymoon. I screamed and hugged them all. Thanking them for their wonderful gifts.

After that Charlie and Renee went to Charlie’s house, it wasn’t mine anymore. I went into the kitchen to start the dishwasher, Alice didn’t see the need in getting paper plates and she had gotten clear crystal plates for all the guests. Edward had followed me into the kitchen, like I had the feeling he would. He grabbed my hands before I could turn the water on and spun me around.

“How do you feel?” he asked.

“Fine, a little tired, but fine.”

“Do, you want to go to bed?” he asked.

“Are you coming with me, Mr. Cullen?”

“Of course Mrs. Cullen, why wouldn’t I?” Then, his face turned sarcastic, “I need my rest too, Bella.”

“I guess so. I am rather tired I think I will go to bed. Will you lead the way?”

“Of course.” He grabbed my hand, kissed me, picked me up like a child and ran to his room. But, only then did my heart rate start increasing.
