And she looked into his eyes,
She lost herself in the topaz,
Like the golden sun above,
It shone on her like a warmth,
That will never end.
His eyes, they look away,
Losing interest in reality,
And he loses himself,
And goes to a different world,
Thinking about the future,
And what will it hold for her.
He looks back, smiling,
She can’t see through him,
She can’t tell what he is thinking,
Or what bothers him so.
And she looked into his eyes,
She lost herself in the topaz,
Like the golden sun above,
It shone on her like a warmth,
That will never end.
