My angel, my life

My angel, my life, how can you do this,

Leaving me, in this world alone,

My angel, my one life, come back to me,

And take away the pain that has grown.

Angel, come back, and don’t leave again,

Your love I will never forget, it will not end,

And my safety is in danger with you not here,

For the danger lurks behind the bend.

My angel, I thought you were mine,

Until you left me here unprotected,

How can an angel be so unkind?

And break a heart that unexpected.

My angel, my life, how can you do this,
