Bella's POV

"Oh hi" I say and smile.

"Bella, I'm so sorry to interupt you on you honeymoon, but I wanted to tell you something." Jacob says. He sounds concerned like I'll hang up on him.

"It's fine, Jake, "I say glancing at Edward. He's frozen in place and I can tell it's taking everything he has not to grab the phone and hang up. "What is it?"

"Well...I wanted to tell you that...well...I"

"YEah?" I say, curious of why he's so hesitant.

"I imprinted." He blurts out. There's silence. I don't breathe .

"On who?!" I say a little too loud, making me sound a little to upset.

"Well...it's this girl...I met. Her name is Julia and she's so sweet I think you'll love her." He gushes. I don't respond. The shock of Jacob having imprinted is a little bit too much.

"Bella?" Jacob asks. "Are you OK? DO you want to talk? Maybe if you met her you would see..."

I still don't respond. I eventually breathe again but I still don't respond.

"Bella?" Jacob asks again. "Julia wants to talk to you." He sound slightly concerned and worried.

I gulp.

"Hello? Bella?" A sweet and innocent voice says. "It's me, Julia. I wanted to talk to you....Jacob told me about you and your history and I wanted to make sure you're OK...Jacob said you two were...close."

I gulp and mummer something along the lines of a ‘yes'.

"Jacob" Julia says talking to her new...boyfriend. "I'm getting bad reception in here, do you mind if I step outside?" I haven't even met her but I know that she's probably giving some innocent looking eyes.
In the background I hear Jacob's low voice answer.
She walks outside and returns her attention to me.

"Bella," Her voice is low and harsh, it's no longer sweet and innocent. "Listen carefully. Make the same excuse to Edward. Say that the receptions bad and step outside."

The way the instructions are instructed, they remind me of when I was talking to who I thought would be my killer. I almost chuckle at the sudden reminiscent.

"Edward," I say turning to my beautiful husband. "The reception is bad in here, do you mind if I bring the phone next to the window."

Edward steps forward and whispers in my ear.

"Anything you want." He kisses my neck and I shiver.

I smile at him as he takes a few steps back.

"Anytime now." Julia says highly annoyed. Her cold harsh voice brings me back to reality. I grab the phone, take one last glance at Edward and walk over to the window.

"Can he hear you?" Julia asks.

I glance over my shoulder to see Edward staring at me intently. He got us the honeymoon sweet so he's a ways away.

"I don't think." I say as I hesitantly take my eyes off of him

"Good." Julia says. "Here's the deal..."

JAcob's POV

Where is she? She's been talking to Bella forever. What does she want to say to her? Is she asking her about me? IS she asking about the whole being a werewolf thing? Is Bella telling her about Edward being a vampire?

Doubt it.

I get up and walk to the window to look at her through the window. She's leaning against my car and her back is to me. I can't see her gorgeous face. I can tell by the way her jaw is moving that she's talking, and harshly. What's with that?

Bella's POV

"What do you mean?" I ask, distracting by Edward's pacing.

"I need you to leave. Get away from there. I don't care where you go, just leave, and don't come back here. Stay far away from here."

"But why?" I say utterly confused. I like it here. It's small and romantic, I don't want to leave! I mentally add.

"Trust me. I have my reasons." Her voice is harsh and I want to give in but I can't.

"What are they?"" I asks. "I think I deserve a reason before I start running away from something."

Then it hits me. The Volturri. Is that what the problem is? But how would she know about them? How would she know if they're headed here?

"Look," She says "The Volturri are coming. They're on there way to come find you and kill you."

Even though I realized it before she even said it, the word still stun me.

"How do you know?" I gulp, preparing for her answer.

"Because I'm Jane."

I flip the phone off and run to Edward's side.

"We need to leave"

He looks at me with concerned eyes.

"Why?" His voice is low and quick.

"Julia says that the Volturri are coming." I grab my empty bag and start to pack.

Edward grabs my hand and hold onto it tight.

"Who's Julia and why should we listen to her?" His eyes are piercing and for a minute I forget who she is and why we should listen to her.

"Because" My words come out in a rush. "Jacob imprinted on Julia and Julia turns out to be a vampire. Not only is she a vampire, she's Jane. And she says that they are coming here to kill me."

He takes a minute to process the words.

"Julia is Jane." He asks. I nod. "And Jacob imprinted on her?" HE asks. I nod. "I always knew there was something wrong with him."

I chuckle and go back to packing. Edward gently puts his hands on my hips and moves me aside. By the time I catch my breath he's packed both of our bags.

We head out the door, ready for the terrifying and amazing adventure that I'm sure Edward will protect me from.

Jacob's POV

Julia turns and looks at me. She smiles but I can almost see through it. She's not genuinely happy. She comes inside and right next to me. She leans into me and puts her face inches from mine.

"I love you" she whispers, but it' also seems slightly fake. It's not real.

"I love you, too." I whisper and kiss her. When we pull back I notice her eyes aren't the same color. They're still green, and they're still vibrant but they're almost overdone. Once again they seem fake.
We walk over to the couch and once we're sitting comfortably I ask her,

"Can I ask you something?" She mummers yes and nuzzles into me.

"Where are you from?" She looks at me and smiles, but I can see a hint of concern in them.

"Why do you want to know?" Her voice is slightly different too. It's like it's an illusion and it's slowly fading.

"Just wondering."

"Well, I grew up in England and then I've been living in Italy for a while."

"No accent?"

"It's been a while."

"So how's Bella?" I ask. She tenses up.

"She's great, she and Edward are having a great time."

"How do you know about Edward?" I ask. I've never mentioned him as anything but ‘leech' or ‘bloodsucker'.

"She..uh...mentioned him." I can see right through it this time.

"What did you talk about?" Hoping she'll crack.

"What kind of stuff?"

"Why do you care?" SHe looks up at me with a quizzical look. This time though I don't see her as pretty. I don't see Julia, I see something else, someone else.

"Who are you?" I ask. She tenses up again and looks desperate for a lie, but this time she's out. She tries anyway.

"I'm Julia."

"No" I say leaning away from her. "You're not. You're someone else. Something else."
