Full Moon

Summary:
This story starts a month after Eclipse ends, and talks about what Bella will do with Jacob, because he is obviously having trouble letting go. Will she pull an Edward on him, (as if I never existed), or will Jacob get over it on his own, maybe imprinting along the way? Or maybe, just maybe, she'll run off with him and live her life as a 'wolf girl' instead of a 'vampire girl'. Or will the Volturi get her first?

Notes:
I got quite a few of my ideas for my story from another fanfiction called Consequences, by helloeverybody, posted on www.bellaandedward.com, but I also received some of my ideas from my friend Kara, who is not currently a member of this site, but is, like me, an avid follower of the Twilight series. We come up with the ideas together, and then I write the story. She is also my editor, so I would like to thank both her and helloeverybody for their ideas and their input.

Edward’s point of view

“Are you sure you want to do this, Edward?” Carlisle said, frowning.

“Positive,” I growled as I turned to face Jacob again. We began to circle each other, snarling viciously. I had been waiting so long for this. He may have kept her safe while I was gone, but ever since I had come back all I had seen him do was hurt her, time and time again. I wouldn’t kill him-that would upset Bella. But I would definitely enjoy mauling him so much that he could barely heal back. As I glared at him with loathing for what he did to my Bella, he glared back, and I saw the pure hatred for me in his eyes. I knew then that he wouldn’t be able to keep himself from killing me if he could. I almost decided to return the favor, and kill him right there, but then I thought of the pain in my angel’s eyes whenever Jacob was hurt, and I knew I couldn’t do it. Oh, but how I wanted to.

He lunged at me, phasing into a wolf. I dodged him easily, and was behind him in a flash. I picked up a tree and threw it at him, and he fell to the ground under its weight. I rushed up to attack while he was defenseless, but he had freed himself from the tree by the time I got there. He ran at me again, this time biting into my arm. I managed to throw him off of me, and before he could rush me again, I ran up to him, biting and snarling. I felt my teeth sink into his shoulder and he screamed in agony, calling on all his strength and throwing me off his back. He picked up a tree and threw it at me, mimicking my tactics, but I dodged it easily, and was about to rush up and attack when I felt Alice’s mind come towards the clearing. I paused, listening to what she was shouting in her mind.

“Jacob, wait!” I said sharply, for he had picked up another tree and was aiming to throw it at me. He paused, confused. Alice ran up, stopping in front of Jacob.

“What do you mean by this? How dare you-this is one on one!” she screamed at him. Jacob continued to look confused.

“What do you mean? I’m not-” He was interrupted by a crashing noise as the rest of his pack, all ten of them, came running into the woods in fury. The one in front, probably Sam, came up and shoved Alice out of the way. Jasper responded immediately, practically tearing Sam’s arm off as he attacked him. All hell broke loose then, as everyone began attacking each other. I vaguely saw Jacob trying to stop his pack before he gave up and turned back to me. He stared at me helplessly. I just shook my head slightly and gestured for him to continue. We wouldn’t be able to stop them-why try?

He nodded and picked up the tree again, throwing it at me. This time it hit me, and I fell back under its weight momentarily before throwing it off me and standing up again, running towards Jacob. We collided, snarling and biting at anything we could reach. I almost finished Jake off before he threw me away from him. I saw him panting, and I smiled. He was getting tired. I looked around quickly to see how everyone was fairing. Poor Jasper was trying to fight both his and Alice’s battles, but Alice had still managed to get a hold of Leah. She was just about to finish her off when she froze, and her eyes became unfocused. I listened to what she was seeing, and I froze in horror as I watched her vision unfold.

“NO!” I screamed as I bolted out of the clearing as fast as I could. No no NO! How could I have been so stupid?
