Side Chapter

Okay, I have had some questions on some of Bella’s coven, and what shifting is. So, I decided to make a short little side chapter on it. Sorry, I know that you all want a real chapter, but this might clear some things up if you have any questions.

Okay, I’ll start on Bella. Bella has the power of invisibility, creating force fields, and immunity to other vampire mind powers. She can also set up mental shields around other people. Also, if you read chapter ten, she’s starting to discover another one, as well as the rest of her coven…

Becka was Bella’s best friend in Phoenix. She is about four five, so just a little taller than Bella. As a human, she has stormy blue eyes, and long brown hair. She was changed at seventeen. She was very fast and athletic, as well as a bit impatient, as a human. That trait got carried over to her new life, giving her the power of teleportation. She is a lot like Alice, being jumpy and perky, but more of a teenager. She can be very sarcastic, and has a British sense of humor sometimes. She loves to party and shop.

Alex was also one of Bella’s best friends. He and Becka are going out. They are soul mates, but have a basic teenage relationship. Neither of them takes many things seriously, so they joke around with their relationship. Alex has dark blond hair and icy blue eyes as a human. He is around five foot seven. He was changed at seventeen. His power is to make people forget things. As a human, he got in trouble a lot, but learned to make people forget what they were saying or doing with a simple action or word. His power doesn’t work on Bella. He likes to bet with Aaron A LOT! Also, baseball is his passion!

Aaron was Bella’s closest guy friend before the she met the Cullens. He has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He is very tall, about six foot one. He was changed just after his eighteenth birthday. His power is to make distractions. He would help Alex a lot in his funny boy stunts, and learned the subtle art of distractions doing so. Now, he can make any distraction using what would distract someone most. He simply directs his power, and it finds a distraction mentally. He could do it to a crowd of one hundred people, all with a different distraction going in their minds eye. His power also doesn’t work on Bella.

KJ, as you all know, is Martin Luther King Jr. I just thought that he was a such a great man that he deserved to be immortalized. His compassion and desire for peace in the world gave him special venom. It makes vampires that are almost sickened by human blood, and feel almost no bloodlust towards animal blood. Only when they are starving will any of them go crazy with hunger.

Jasmine is a normal vampire. She was twenty when she was changed. She has blond hair, and is around five foot six. She has normal vampire eyes, but they will be gold soon. She doesn’t have any powers like the others. She is just a very caring person, and was disgusted by drinking human blood. She never knew you could do otherwise.

Shifting is a trick that KJ, Aaron, Alex Becka and Bella all have; they are probably the only people in the world with that ability. When they shift, they are “alive” again. They’re hearts give off the illusion of beating, and they “appear” to be human. They smell the same and look the same. They could fool the Volturi on their true selves with how convincing it is.
