Carlisle and Esme's Story
This is what my version of Carilsle and Esme is. This is how I pictured them meeting and being together. This is what I think happened when Esme found out, and this is what happened when Esme wanted in.
I warn you that the facts in this story are wrong, all wrong! This is simply what would have happened if the order of the Cullens changed.

I linger outside her house again until the last light has been turned out. I wander back to the park and sit on the same bench as I did before. I sit and think. I think of life with this mysteriously gorgeous woman. I decide then and there, as I watch the sun rise, that I now that she's the one.
I make my way back to her street. I never cross in front of her house., but I watch from afar. Eventually their door opens and closes. Esme steps out in a new cream colored dress. It's fancier than her dress yesterday, but she's much prettier than before also. She also appears to be looking for something, or someone rather. I step closer to her. I quicken my pace and eventually am standing next to her again.
"Hello" She says smiling. She stops looking. She ever takes her eye off me as we walk.
"Hello" I say back. I match her smile as we walk.
"I was wondering yester evening, after you kindly waked me home." She links her arm through mine as she says this.
"Yes?" I ask curious of her thoughts.
"I thought of you, and your eyes. They are a peculiar color." She looks at me with a face that's truly curious. I wonder if she can see the fear in mine. If she knows my secret all will be ruined. She'll never think of me the same, she'll never bless me with her presence again!
"Yes," I say "they are."
"I was also thinking of your personality. You seem very...different from many of the gentlemen around here. You seem to me more mysterious, almost dangerous if you will."
If only she knew.
"I suppose you like this quality?" I ask "Otherwise you would not be walking with me, would you not?"
"No I wouldn't be." She says. "I think you may be hiding something from me though. I think you have something you have not told a soul on this planet."
"I do, actually." I say. She looks shocked at this. I reason she expected me to deny her guess.
"What is it? I wouldn't dare to gossip it about. Will you tell me?" She looks at me with hopeful eyes.
"I would, but I cannot. My...secret, if you will, is very discerning. I'm sure you would faint at the very thought of it."
"I am sure I can hold my own conciseness, I am sure you secret is nothing so massive as to cause me to fall over and black out. Tell me."
I turn to her and we both stop and look into each other's eyes.
"Should I tell you, you would never believe my tale." She looks hurt. She probably thinks I simply do not want to tell her.
"I see. If you did not want to tell me, why did you not say so?" She looks to the ground. I gently pull her face up and I see that her gorgeous eyes are filled with tears.
"Darling, I want to tell you this...secret more than I want to tell it to anyone else on this planet. I simply cannot."
"If you are sure." She says and turns to walk again.
I look at her and I yearn to tell her. I want her to know. I want her to know the real me. More importantly I want to know if she'll be ok with the real me.
I lean down and put my lips close to her ear.
"I can break the rules. 11 o'clock this night. Meet me at the bench in the local park. I'll tell you everything you need to know." I turn and leave.
I don't see her shocked expression, I don't see her looking at me curiously. I simply turn and walk away. I silently pray that she'll meet me.
