Alice’s POV

Jasper and I were lying in bed, as always, just being together. “…and I was thinking of studying law this time, I haven’t done that yet. What about you, Alice? What’re you going to do after this set of high school? You’d be great at anything. You’re just amazing.” He was saying.

I grinned. “Of course I am. But so are-” I froze, seeing a vision. When my eyes had stopped glazing over, I smiled so big it was as if my face was one giant tooth.

“What did you see? Alice, love, I know it was a good vision. But what?” Jasper asked me.

“Well…I can’t tell you yet. But I really need to get Bella. You should, I don’t know, go hunting or something. Bye!” I jumped up and raced out of the house, faintly hearing a whisper of “Goodbye, my love…”

Bella’s POV

I was having an amazing dream. Edward and I were…never mind. You don’t want to know. Anyways, here I was, lying in bed with the sunlight somehow sneaking in through the crack in the window. Enjoying the warmth, unusual for Forks, I turned over and snuggled deeper into my bed.

“BELLA!” Came a singsong voice. Alice.

“Aaaliiiiice,” I groaned. “Why are you here? Why isn’t Edward saving me from this madness?” I shoved my head under my pillow.

“Oh come on, sleepyhead! You have to get up, because Edward’s going to do something so funny! GET UP!” Alice shouted, pulling the covers off of me.

I sat up, bleary eyed, and somehow changed my clothes. Alice ran a brush through my hair while I gobbled down a breakfast bar. Before I knew it, we were speeding through the forest, the wind whipping around my face as I clung to Alice for dear life.

When we finally came to a stop at the massive Cullen mansion, I tried to gracefully climb off of Alice’s back. I fell on my face instead.

“Typical,” Alice laughed as she pulled me up. “Now come on! And it would help if you stayed somewhat quiet, too.”

By now I was very confused. Why, oh why, did I have to let Edward go hunting and leave me under the care of the rest of the family? I knew Alice loved to make me do stuff, like make-up, shopping, and who knows what else.

I wearily walked up the porch steps, trying to hide my fear. Apparently my speed wasn’t fast enough, because Alice grabbed my hand and literally dragged me up the stairs, stopping once we reached the third floor. She silently giggled. “In the bathroom,” She mouthed.

I headed towards the bathroom, which was for the most part a prop. I could hear the steady fall of water, indicating that someone was taking a shower. I could also hear muffle sounds…

Alice grinned like a Cheshire cat. “Open the door. It’ll be so funny!”

I was reluctant to do so. Alice could never be trusted. She narrowed her eyes at me and frowned.

“Bella,” She began sternly, yet still in a whisper. “Do it. Trust me!” I shrugged and swung the door open.

“Don't wanna be a fool for you. Just another player in your game for two, you may hate me but it ain't no lie, Baby, bye, bye, bye-”

“Ed-Edward!” I managed to gasp out between my fits of laughter. His voice, which was so much better than Justin Timberlake’s, cut off abruptly. The steaming water stopped, and Edward hopped out of the shower, a fluffy, white towel wrapped around his waist.

“BELLA?!” He shouted. “What are you doing here?!” He demanded.

I was still giggling. “You sing N’Sync? Amazing. Anyways, Alice dragged me over here, and I think it was totally worth it.”

He looked down, embarrassed. “N’Sync was the best of the 90’s.” He muttered defensively.

I frowned. “I thought you were hunting. Why didn’t you tell me you got back early?”

“I was going to surprise you. We were going to go out to dinner and go to the movies and everything. But someone justhad to ruin it. ” Edward glared at the laughing Alice.

“Oh, Edward, that’s so sweet!” I stepped close to him and kissed him lightly on his cold lips. He smelled so good, with his already sweet scent mixed with the clean smell of shampoo.

“I’ll pretend I had no clue. Pick me up at seven!” Alice and I marched out of the room, leaving a somewhat satisfied Edward.

END OF THE CHAPTER

Okay so now I'd like to take a moment to make a tribute to my favorite band ever, which doesn't get much recognition these days...

BSB!!

[aka Backstreet Boys]

Did you all know that they're still making albums and singles and big hits? Because if I wasn't an avid BSB fan, I know I wouldn't.

Let me ask you this: Have you had you're daily dose of AJ? How about some Vitamin Howie? Or perhaps some delicious Nick to spice up your day?

BSB FOREVER!

Okay, my rant is done. =]
