The wedding was a blur. I remember all the flowers, lavender and fressens. I remember the rage I felt at all those leeches. It was all I could take not to phase in the middle of the church. Then I felt Azua behind me, and I was calm. Slightly. I remember Charlie shaking as he walked his only daughter down the aisle. The shaking of Bella as she took Edwards hand. The love that emanated from couples kiss. I heard the small sob of Renée, the anxiety of Azua. My rage. He spun Bella around and kissed her lovingly as they celebrated the joy of true love found. Then I realized something, they couldn't be happy without each other. Even if Bella had chosen me, she would be only half there. Not a whole being. He took her hand and began to lead her down the aisle, it looked like she might trip. Her face was lit up, generating happiness. I murmured congratulations to Bella as she passed me. She turn and smiled wider, if possible. She obliviously wanted to stop but Edward whispered something in her ear, she waved and continued to make her way out the door.

I stared at that door, not comprehending anything. Her fate was sealed, she was destined to turn into a, a blood sucker! Something grabbed my hand and began to pull me. A voice, such a sweet voice, like honey suckles. It sounded happy. No, not happy or sad but a strange combination of the two. "Jake," Was it speaking too me? "Jake, can you take me over to the reception? I need to say bye to Bells."

I remain mute and immobile as she gently lead me too the car. I was stunned. He had done it. It was over. He had married the girl I loved. Love. I heard a clatter of voices, Azua guided me up the front step, into the Cullen's home.

It was the smell that awoke me. The sweet, sickly smell of vampires. I looked around, their was at least twenty. I automatically stepped in front of Azua to protect her. She pushed me aside and ran forward, pale-dress swirling around her russet-colored legs. I saw Edward stiffen. Azua smile stretched from ear to ear as she ran forward to hug up the bride.

"Izzy! I've missed you so much"

"Azua! What are you doing here? You said you wouldn't come!" Bella voice is shocked, I smiled.

"I lied." Her smile curled and became smug. "I wanted to surprise you."

"But- but I wanted you to be my Maid of Honor!" She was stumbling for words, obviously surprised and joyful by the girls return.

"I was afraid that your pick of dresses may be orange and teal."

"Oh, very funny. I didn't do the wedding anyway."

"I guessed that, who did?"

"Do you remember Edwards sister? Alice."

"Yea! Where is she? I've always wanted to meet her!"

"You will, have you met Jacob yet?" I tensed and leaned closer.

"He's a nice guy, not the insane monster you made him out to be."

"Monster! I did not say that!"

"Of course you didn't, Izzy"

"Go away, you know I hate that."

"No, you love me. Izzy!"

"Where's Edward when you need him?" I turned, Edward began to head over.

Azua sneered, "Edward," She pronounced the name like a curse. I was really beginning to like her more every day. "Where is he?

"Azua, be nice."

"Yea, yea, yea..." Edward approached Bella's side, wrapping a arm around her waist. He grimaced, I wondered what Azua was thinking.

"Pleasure to meet you Azua. I've heard so much." He was stiff, formal. She sneered, upper lip curling.

"Sorry to be intruding, but may I inquire why you returned." I smiled, she was making fun of him in ever way.

"It was a- misunderstanding."

She exploded, "A misunderstanding! Liar! You almost killed her!" Her voice rose higher shrieking, guest were beginning to stare. She lowered her voice.

"Azua! It was nothing, really." Bella pleaded with her.

Azua ignored her, speaking only for Edward. "Do you know what you did! You fool! You took away her soul! You broke her, and now you come back and get married like it never happened! How could you? Why did you leave anyway, don't give me this ‘misunderstanding' crap! I bet it as for a girl, was she pretty!" I slinked away, she was sounded absolutely furious. I almost felt sorry for Edward, almost.

"Please Azua, he left because-" Bella cut in hoping to stop her rage.

"Because of what?"

"Because he thought that he wasn't good enough for me!"

"Oh," She clearly wasn't ready for that answer. "And he's damn right."

"Please Azua, for me?"

Azua pursed her lips unhappily, "I don't have to like him do I?"

"Of course."

Bella smiled and gave her a hug. "I've missed you."

"So have I," Azua broke away and turned to Edward again. "I'm sorry and if Bella loves you then you are my friend." Then she gave him a stiff, awkward hug and whispered in his ear. "If you ever leave her again I will take out your heart, and eat it for breakfast."

"Izzy, I'm going to go find Samuelton. I be back in a second." I froze, a boyfriend?

"Oh Jacob I've missed you so much!" Bella was standing there, radiant in her wedding gown of cream and sapphire. I was hard not to picture me as the groom. Edward growled.

"Bells! You look lovely... Thank you for inviting me."

"Well, umm, I didn't send you an invitation." Edward looked guilty.

"Edward! Jerk... I'm glad you came though."

"I needed to-"

"Sorry, I hear you imprinted! Edward won't tell me who though."

"I thought that he would like to tell you himself." Edward kissed her forehead lightly, she giggled and blushed.

"Well, It's your friend."

"Well?"

"Azua, Azua Stella."

"Oh, that should be interesting-"

"What do you mean?"

"She has her own way of looking at things." She trailed off, pondering, "Well anyway, this is great! You will be perfect together!"

I jerked up, a scream of pain sounded in my ear, Azua. I quickly ran into the other room. Azua was on the floor. She had tripped over the bar and cut herself on the knife. The slice was long, reaching for her thigh to her ankle. It was gushing blood, forming a pool. A snarl echoed across the hall, Jasper had lunged towards the girl. Their leader had him bye the arms, trying to hold him back. Several other stranger vampires joined in. Azua scrambled away dragging her leg, face a picture of complete fright.

"Grab her!" Bella voce rang throughout my ear. I ran to Azua, trying to ignore the assorted leeches. I flung her over my shoulder and ran for the car.
