Bella's thoughts are in this font.

She grew up with

The children of the stars in the

Hollywood hills and the boulevard

I grew up in the city. But I never realized I wasn't whole, until I moved to Forks and met...him.

Edward was gone. He said it would be as if he'd never existed. He took the physical proof but he couldn't take my memories. And I was glad I still had them, even if they hurt the most.

Her parents threw big parties

Everyone was there

They hung out with folks like dennis

Hopper, bob seeger, sonny and cher

I never really fit in with the tan, blonde athletic girls.

Edward said I was beautiful, one time. But it's all lies anyways. Still, to be able to pretend he really loved me....

Now, she feels safe

I'm safe, just as he wanted. Reckless in Forks -- now there was a hopeless proposition.

He broke his promise the second he made it.

In the bar on fairfax

And from the stage I can tell that

She cant let go and she cant relax

And just before

She hangs here head to cry

I felt my eyes fill with tears and the aching pain begin around the edges of the hole in my chest.

I sing to her a lullaby, I sing

It was his music, his compositions. The first piece on the CD was my lullaby.

Everythings gonna be all right

Rockabye, rockabye

She still lives with her mom

Outside the city

Down that street about a half a mile

And all her friends tell her

Shes so pretty

But shed be a whole lot prettier

If she smiled once in a while

cause even her smile

Looks like a frown

I glanced at myself in the hall mirror before I opened the door, carefully arranging my features into a smile and trying to hold them there.

Shes seen her share of devils

In this angel town

The only heaven I could appreciate would have to include Edward.

But, everythings gonna be all right

I repeated a mantra in my head so many times. Everything's gonna be alright. Everything's gonna be alright.

Rockabye, rockabye

Everything's gonna be alright.

I told her I ain't so sure

Everything's gonna be alright.

About this place

I can't leave. He wouldn't be able to find me.

Its hard to play a gig in this town

Everything's gonna be alright.

And keep a straight face

Everything's gonna be alright.

Seems like everyone heres got a plan

I didn't want to go to school. I wanted to stay and wait for him.

Its kind of like nashville with a tan

"I've never seen anyone with paler skin than you except ---"

But, everythings gonna be all right

Everything's gonna be alright.

Rockabye, rockabye

Everything has to be alright.

Everythings gonna be all right

I repeated it in my head, over and over again, before I drifted to sleep.

Rockabye, rockabye

But I always woke up screaming.

I never gave up though. Always telling myself, everything's gonna be alright. Everything's gonna be alright.

I would wake up screaming, but just talk myself to sleep again.

"Everything's gonna be alright, Bella."

Every night.....I fell asleep to my new lullaby.
