We entered a crowded entry and pressed our way past many of the guests. When someone noticed Lucas behind them, they almost scattered out of his way. It was obvious they knew who was in charge here.

We entered through a pair of large, crystal looking doors, and into an even larger hall. There were small tables at either of the two side walls, and one, very large one at the front of the hall. Two, extremely beautiful people sat at the center of the long table, talking to each other.

They looked up when the faint sound of our echoing footsteps reached their ears, and I was suddenly very self-conscious as their eyes gazed at me.

"Hello mother, father." Lucas said confidently as we walked closer to the long table.

"Lucas, it's so wonderful to see you again. I must say that I am very glad that you and all of your friends made it here safely. We were getting worried that something had happened." The women, Gina, said.

"We're fine mom," Lucas said sternly, "everything's been taken care of." And then his tone lightened, "Mom, dad, I'd like you to meet a very important person. This is Elizabeth Renee Cullen. The girl I've told you about." He told them gesturing to me.

I stepped forward and curtsied, just like Edward had always taught me to do when meeting important people, "It's very nice to finally meet you both. I'm honored to be here."

"It is certainly a greater honor for us to have you here tonight." Darren told me, "I'm very delighted all of you could attend this special night."

What's so special about tonight Lucas? You said it was just a party. I thought to him.

There's a lunar eclipse tonight on all three moons. It's spectacular and only happens about every hundred years or so. The bad part is that it's shadows' strongest night to gain power. But we've taken care of everything, as we always do. Shit, lunar eclipses usually meant major headaches and passing out for me if I was outside.

Oh. So, is it a lunar eclipse back home too?

No, your's won't happen for about another week in your time, we should be back by then.

Ok. Thanks for telling me.

Our eyes dropped and I saw Darren smile. He must have overheard our conversation.

"Well, now that our guests of honor have arrived," Darren said, "We shouldn't keep the rest of Nymth waiting." As he finished saying this, the giant doors opened and every single one of the guests filed in and the party had begun.

I followed Lucas to the table, unsure of what else to do. I really didn't feel like chatting with the other guests.

Alec and Ryan followed me, also looking unsure of what to do. I glanced at Ryan and he shrugged. We both had no idea what to do.

"Are you three hungry?" Gina asked.

"I'm starved!" Alec said before he could stop himself.

We all burst out laughing.

"There's a werewolf for you." Ryan said.

Alec shot him an evil glare, "Well I'm sorry about my appetite, but you are the one who should be worried about who I get mad at."

Ryan pretended to cower in fear and that got Alec laughing too.

"Well, if you are hungry," Darren said smiling, "Then you can join us whenever you feel the need to eat."

"Awesome." Alec said before pulling out a chair and filling his plate full of foods that I had never seen before and digging in.

"Liz," Lucas asked, "would you like to dance?"

That caught me a little off guard, but what would you be expected to do at a party with warlocks?

"Sure." I said smiling, "Let's go."

We easily made our way to the center of the hall that had transformed into a very large dance floor. Lucas wrapped his arms around me and we were waltzing in and out of couples in seconds.

"You're a fairly good dancer." I told him.

"I could say the same about you. Where did you learn?"

"Edward and Jasper taught me. It's never really come in handy until now though. I've always danced like kids from my era did, I never really wanted to slow dance while all of my classmates were never going to dance at all."

"I see." He said, his voice was then full of sincerity, "Well, for hardly ever dancing, you're spectacular."

"Thank you." I whispered back.

We danced for a few more minutes together until the giant crystal door flew open and in walked... Alice?
