The last chapter is the best. So if you don't wanna read all the crap, just skip to chapter 10.So I've decided since no one is reviewing my stuff, I'm not going to write another chapter. And I've kinda lost inspiration for this story. So yeah.

Notes:
This is my first fan Fic, So please review! Tell me how it is. Improvements I can make and such.

The Letter

Jacob’s POV

I woke up to the bright light shining in through the window. I stretched, cringing as my head hit my metal bed frame. My stomach growled. I leapt out of bed and down the stairs. I walked into the door frame, wincing, I ducked. Stupid overnight growth spurts...

Sam and Billy were whispering when I walked in.

“Good morning Jacob” Sam grinned at me, as if it was perfectly normal that he was sitting at our breakfast table.

“Morning Sam” I mumbled

“Breakfast is on the counter” Billy called as I walked into the kitchen.

Billy and Sam returned to their hushed conversation. I grabbed a couple of muffins from the counter shoving them into my mouth. I paused next to the kitchen entrance catching some of Billy and Sam’s conversation.

“Just tell him, it’s going to come out sometime!” What was Sam trying to convince Billy?

“No! He has enough to worry about!” Billy exclaimed.

“It’s been more than a year! He’s going to find out anyways –”

I decided to walk in at that moment, ducking my head to steer clear of the door frame.

“Great muffins, tell Emily I said thanks…” I said rather awkwardly.

Sam stood up, “Yes. I’ll be sure to tell her. Bye. Billy, Jacob.” He said shortly giving Billy a piercing look, and then strode out of our house.

Billy began to talk nonsense. “Emily is a very good cook.”

I nodded, waiting for the important point to come out.

“How’s school?” He asked tensely.

Rushing on, he didn’t wait for an answer.

“Oh, you got a letter, from… her.” Billy said quietly as if he was hoping I didn’t hear.

I sighed. So this is what they were talking about. Another letter from Bella… Exactly what I need right now. Her stupid bloodsucker…

“Jacob?” Billy asked interrupting my thoughts. “You don’t have to read it you know…”

Stupid reverse psychology.

I held out my hand and Billy placed the letter in it.

The smell was revolting, too sticky and sweet. I tore it open.

Dear Jacob,

How are you doing? I know it’s been a while. How is Charlie? Edward and I are going to be coming to Forks in a week or so. I would really like it if we could see you. It would mean a lot to me. I’ve missed you a lot. Please write back!

Bella

Blood pounded in my ears. I felt myself clenching my fists and then letting go. Her note sounded so… detached… almost unfriendly. Sure, I didn’t reply her last letter, more than a year ago… Charlie was devastated because of her… no because of Edward…Stupid leech. How could they be coming here?? The second I set eyes on Edward I would rip him apart.

I saw Billy watching me carefully.

“They’re going to come back” I said listlessly.

Billy sighed. “I thought it would be something like that”

I ran out of the house.

“Don’t be too long” Billy called out, a hint of worry etched into his voice.

I wasn’t going anywhere. I didn’t want to phase, the others would hear me. I walked towards the cliff. The memories flooded me, painfully one by one.

Bella on the bike, looking like being on this bike was the scariest thing she would ever do. Bella on the ground unconscious, and me trying to revive her. Bella… Bella honey… how could you do this to me? Every time I thought I was letting go, another letter came. Came to torture me. Bring back memories that I didn’t want back. Now bringing back Bella herself. I can’t see her! I can’t do this! But there’s nowhere to go. I can’t run off again. That hurt Billy and Sam and the rest of the pack to much.

It’s inevitable. I’ll have to see Bella sometime…
