Mending hearts or breaking them?
It’s been seven years since Bella has left Forks. Edward decides that a trip to Forks is due, and Bella agrees. But how are the residents (aka Jacob) of Forks going to act?
Obviously not well.

The last chapter is the best. So if you don't wanna read all the crap, just skip to chapter 10.So I've decided since no one is reviewing my stuff, I'm not going to write another chapter. And I've kinda lost inspiration for this story. So yeah.
This is my first fan Fic, So please review! Tell me how it is. Improvements I can make and such.

Her scent wafted to me before I even saw her. Just like her letters. A sticky sweetness that made cringe. It was like a button being pushed that made me want to attack. I clenched my fists and calmed myself. I reigned myself in as she came into view. Bella… she was absolutely stunning. Her hair was full and blew in the breeze. Her body looked like a model, curving in exactly the right places. I pulled my eyes off her body and looked at her face. Her face was a heart shaped, with full brown hair hanging fully around it. Her lips were fuller. Remembering her soft lips brought a pang of pain. Her eyes were no longer a luscious chocolate brown but a hard, unatural, shocking green with flecks of gold shimmering in them. I turned away taking a deep breath.
Bella walked up to me.
“Hello Jacob” her voice was musical, just like his. No longer the sweet voice of my Bella.
I took a step backwards my instincts screaming at me to attack her.
Jacob’s scent hit me like a brick wall. I walked slowly into it. He smelled wet, soggy, and oddly like a dog. I crouched slightly, the scent making me feel defensive and threatened. Jacob had grown taller. He probably towered over me now.
“Hello Jacob” I said holding my breath as he tensed.
Jacob took a step backwards. I bit my lip and tried to maintain a friendly composition.
“I’ve really missed you” I whispered.
Jacob snorted “Yeah, well disappearing for seven years and coming back… like this. You sure find a way to show it” Jacob’s voice dripped with sarcasm.
I took a sharp breath quietly.
I could tell my words had stung her. Shock radiated through her face.
I hadn’t meant to say anything too harsh. I had once been her sunshine, and now I was breaking her heart. Wait… She doesn’t have a heart. I thought bitterly.
“Well if that’s the way you see it then, I can’t help you” she replied coldly.
“I’ll never regret being turned” Bella stood straighter and lifted her head proudly.
Bella’s face still looked hurt. I wanted to reach out and give her a hug, just like before. But I stopped myself just in time. She bit her lip, looking as if she was going to say something. She watched my face intensely, her stare making me self conscious. I sighed, feeling slightly sorry. But I still couldn’t help thinking all this was her fault. She could have had a wonderful life with me. Kids, stable home, wonderful family, Charlie…
“I’m sorry” Bella whispered
“What for?” I asked, not wanting an answer.
Bella just shook her head.
“I’ll see you later Jake” Bella said quietly.
I blinked and she was gone.
Her scent still lingered in the air a couple hours later after I had taken a walk. I wonder what she’s doing. Maaybe I should take a look…
ABSOLUTELY NOTa voice rang into my head, distinguishably Paul’s.
I rolled my eyes. You can’t control what I do.
Let him go where he wantsSam said understandingly.
Immediately I took off.
My face must have looked defeated.
The moment I saw Edward he gave me a reassuring smile. The crooked grin he knew I couldn’t resist. I gave him a half-hearted smile.
Edward pulled me into his arms. I started to sob into his chest. “It’s my entire fault Edward. Why am I such a horrible person?”
Edward shushed me, rocking me gently in his arms. “Oh Bella darling, this is not your fault. Jacob… just needs some time. And you are anything but horrible. You are my life, and the person who is my life is not horrible”
I looked into his perfect topaz eyes. I smiled and brought him closer to me. I stood up on my tiptoes to kiss him, closing my eyes. Suddenly he stiffened. Crouching, he pulled me behind him.
A twig cracked ½ a mile away.
