It was raining again, as usual, and the dark clouds seemed to hang over only me. Just to match my mood. Today was an awful day. It all started the same, I got up, got dressed and got ready for school. Sadly, it all when downhill from there. I missed my bus, so I had to walk through the rain, getting drenched! Then, I was late for school, so I couldn't take my Geometry final and I had to remake it up after school. Left my lunch at home and had no money so I was starving! It was pretty much my worst day ever.
I was walking home from school when I heard the most beautiful voice in the world. It seemed to be calling me, so I turned around. There stood, the most gorgeous figure I had ever seen! He had dark brown hair with a soft curl and white, pale skin. He was simply dressed but it seemed as though he just walked out of a magazine add. The only downside to his Godly appearance was his eyes. A dark red that entranced me in his gaze.
"Hello," he said, "Amanda, Right? I noticed that your backpack looks a little too heavy for you and I was wondering if you would like me to help you out?"
Actually, my bag was fine, it wasn't heavy at all. I looked down at my bag as my light blonde hair draped over my face. I saw his hands ball up into tight fists and I thought of just walking away. But I had no way of denying this guy so I agreed, slowly nodding, and handed it over to him. He smiled showing a perfect row of white gleaming teeth and started walking. I quickly turned and matched his pace and soon we were walking together down the dark winedy road that led to my neighborhood.
Right when I was about to turn down my road, he stopped. "What's the matter?" I asked him, "Do you need to go? I can take bag back if you would like." I didn't want to seem rude, especially to this hunk of gorgeous.
"No," he smiled, "Actually I was hoping you could help me out. You see, I also live near here, and I remember loosing something in that grove of trees over there, can you help me find it?" he asked leaning in and whispering softly in my ear. I couldn't even talk. I just nodded and turned around heading into the woods. I didn't even know what I was looking for, I just wanted to do whatever he asked. I felt a cool hand on my back and noticed he was right behind me, I hadn't even heard him move. Slowly I saw out of the corner of my eye his mouth reach down to my neck as I thought he was going to give me a kiss.
I was wrong. It was not a kiss, but a bite. He opened his mouth and bit down hard on my neck. Strangely enough, it didn't hurt. At least the pain didn't reach my brain. All I could think about was how strange and crazy a day I was having. I tried to step away, but I realized his arms were wrapped around my waist. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't scream out. I lost my footing and fell into his arms. My eyelids became heavy as I sealed them shut. Forever, I thought.
All of a sudden I heard a loud gasp and a noise that resembled two boulders crashing into each other.
"Jared!" I heard a soft female voice call out, "What are you doing? You know we have changed our ways, this isn't what we want to be." I had no idea what this lady was talking about, but I knew that she was not pleased that this guy was drinking my blood. Their voices became quieter and quieter until I heard no more. I felt a hot fire begin to build inside of me as I fell into a blanket of pain.
