The fire didn't stop. It just kept on coming! Never ending, never wanting to. It felt as though every part of my existence was leaving me. I can't explain the horror that I went through. Soon, though, it ended and my whole body became numb. I couldn't remember where I was and it took me a while to realize what happened. I quickly became angry and jumped up so graceful that I couldn't comprehend that it was actually me. I took off running at full pace with the agility and speed that didn't belong to me. I found an old, clear stream in the middle of the grove and peered down at my reflection.

I gasped as the creature in front of me, surely was not actually...me. It didn't make sense. I was, beautiful. My striking blonde hair was formed in perfect curls and my body was slim and beautiful. Oh my, I thought.

I took a deep breath and decided I had to do something about this. Find someone who could help me. I concentrated really hard on what I had to do, when an image of a handsome young man popped into my mind. He had topaz eyes and blonde hair, but otherwise he looked just like the guy I had seen earlier. I could hear him speaking, saying something about vampires and saying my name. I was going to find this man no matter what. I then noticed a sign behind him saying, "Jesse's Fine Diner" and got straight to my search.

It only took me a few hours to get to Jesse's Fine Diner. It was located in a town called Elk Grove in California that was unreasonably dark for town in California! It must be because it was in the dead of winter. I noticed that the man I was looking for, was not there. It saddened me but I decided I would just have to wait for him to come. I walked into the small restaurant as the door rang a small bell. Every one inside turned to look at me and all went quiet. I was sure they were staring at my new appearance. It shocked even me. So I quickly sat down and grabbed the menu to hide beneath. A few minutes later, I saw Mr. Perfect walk in as the same reaction I got was now fixed on him.

I made a short giggle, but it was enough for him to hear. He looked down at me and noticed my eyes, shock played across his face. He immediately sad down beside me and looked at me with wide eyes.

Of course the only gorgeous guy here in this tiny old town would only go for somebody that looked like her. It is so not fair how people like that just stick to themselves! I heard a soft whisper enter my mind. "Huh?" I said aloud as people turned and looked at me as though I was crazy. I just possibly could have been.
