BELLA’S POV

“What should we do?” I asked Cayli, pacing Rachel’s room.

“What about wishing upon a star?” Cayli suggested.

“I’m not even going to go there.”

“Okay… what about calling your cell phone?”

“Why would I do…?” I started to say. “Cayli, you’re a genius!”

“Thanks.”

I took Rachel’s phone out of my front pocket and dialed my phone number.

After three rings, someone picked up.

Being the coward that I am, I quickly shoved it in Cayli’s hands.

RACHEL’S POV

Edward was hunting today. It was Saturday for crying out loud! I have nothing to do! I wish Cayli was here…

Suddenly the song “Realize” by Colbie Caillat was coming from my back pocket. Oh yeah, Bella’s phone.

I took it out and answered it.

“What?!” a familiar voice whispered. “You’re giving it to me? Chicken!” Another familiar voice said something, but I couldn’t make it out.

“Hello?” I said, wondering who it was.

The girl realized I was on the other line and answered. “H-hello? Is this Rachel? It’s Cayli.”

“CAYLI?!! Oh my gosh!” I screamed into the phone. “How did you get this number?!”

“Well… I know you’re in Bella swan’s body.”

“You believe…” I trailed off. “How do you know that?”

“There is someone in the room I would like you to meet.” She must have handed the phone to someone else, because another voice answered.

“Hello? Is this Rachel? Hi, I’m Bella swan.”

WHAT?! “I’m not crazy?!”

“No, you’re not.” She said, laughing. “This is all happening because of your wish.”

“Oh. Crap…” I said, slightly embarrassed. “So… how are we going to fix this?”

“Well…” Bella said. “I was hoping you would have some ideas.”

“Great.”

“But… I think the first thing we need to do is meet each other.”

Was she completely crazy? “How?!”

“Um…” Bella said, nervously. “I could convince you’re mom to let me go…”

“What?!” I yelled into the phone. “My mom would never let that happen! Not a chance!”

“Not if you run away.”

I rolled my eyes. “I could picture me doing that, but you…Bella Swan?”

That seemed to have made Bella Angry. “Oh yeah? Expect me in forks-soon.” And she hung up.

Could she really do it? And what about school? Graduation? My future could be at risk here! But then I realized something. Both of our lives could be at risk now. And I felt like I had no control over either.

BELLA’S POV

As soon as I hung up I noticed Cayli was looking at me like I was crazy.

“What?” I asked, confused.

“What were you thinking?” She asked, trying to keep her voice low. “How in the world are you going to get to forks? You can’t just run away!”

“If you haven’t already read about it,” I told her coldly. “You should know I’ve done it before.”

"How is running away going to solve anthing?!"

“Well I…” I started to say. “I just have this feeling. It’s like I need to go.”

“When?” She asked, her eyes starting to water.

I hesitated. “I don’t know. Just… soon.”

Cayli then shoved past me and walked out of the room.

It was now Wednesday.

Cayli hadn’t talked to me since the phone call. She had been picking me up for school, but she was distant and seemed really angry and sad.

I silently made my way towards Gym. I had survived the day from Michelle, so far.

Or so I had thought.

When we went in the locker room I decided to take a short shower because I didn’t exactly smell like flowers. I hung my clothes and towel over the rod that held the shower curtain up. I cleaned myself and dried off with my towel. I reached for my clothes, but there was nothing there.

Crap.

I wrapped my towel around me and peeked out to see if anyone was in the locker room. The coast was clear.

I quickly stepped out of the shower and went over to the locker assigned to Rachel. I opened it up and… my clothes weren’t there.

“Hey, Rachel.”

I turned to see who it was.

Michelle… and a camera phone. AND MY CLOTHES!!

She took a picture of me, standing there like an idiot, in only a towel.

I told you, Rachel,” She told me, giggling. “You’d regret it.” And then she walked out of the locker room, throwing my clothes into the nearest trashcan.

I quickly grabbed them out of the trashcan and put them on.

Then I walked to biology, ignoring the stares and laughing, Michelle had probably sent the picture to everyone.

I caught Cayli’s eye as I walked pass her. It looked like she felt sorry for me, but she didn’t comfort me. She just walked on by.

I was alone.
