Note: The summary has been changed. I thought it was A) too short, B) too revealing, and C) not descriptive enough. So here I have a better summary that reveals less, yet describes more. The last one sort of gave it away, and people didn't want to read it because they knew exactly what the story was about. So now I changed it, and here it is. She leaves him for another. He's forced to start over in a new town, at a new school. He's positive he can never love again. She loses her mother in a terrible homicide. She's forced to pick up the peices and try to live again. She's positive that the hole in her heart will never be filled. When the two heartbroken pessimists meet, they notice that the other is strangely detatched, and horribly sad. Neither can figure our what made the other so bitter, until they open up. After all they have been through, can they learn to trust again? Can they learn to start over? Can they learn to forget those that hurt them? Most importantly, can they learn to love again? Chapter One has been rewritten. The story line is completely different, yet somewhat the same.

I've been forced to put the chapter notes here, since the prolouge is under 500 words, and I didn't want to post it with the first chapter. Needless to say, I'm going to ramble on and on just to get to 500 words.
I don't know if any of you have read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn (I HAVE!!! it's pretty awesome.), but this will probly clash with the whole book.
*On a side note, has anyone seen the cover? I have. At first, I didn't like it much, but then I understood what it really meant. The white chess peice (the King) obviously symbolizes Edward, and the red Queen clearly symbolizes Bella. The Queen has the King in a checkmate, symbolizing how Bella backs Edward into the corner (probably because of changing her). And can you BELEIVE that it's the last book? How horrible. I mean, I knew it before, but seriously. It's still shocking.
AND THE MOVIEE!!!! Has anyone SEEN the released FIGHT SCENE clip????? It's amazing. I downloaded it onto my Zune (zunes own ipods, btw.)
And that was probably 500 words in itself...so, here's the prolouge!
Prolouge“That’s it, Bella!” My fist came down hard on the couch’s armrest, sending a earsplitting crack echoing around the room, and causing her to jump. From overhead, I heard Esme’s concerned thoughts – worried about both the furniture and us.
“What are you talking about?” Her voice was far off, as if she had just been brought back to reality. And she had – she’d been daydreaming about that dog again. This was the last straw. She hadn’t even been aware we were having a conversation!
“I’m talking about you. I’ve always looked out for you, I’ve always cared for you. And all you’ve done is thrown it all back in my face. I know you were doing it again, Bella, and I can’t take it anymore!” She jumped, not used to me yelling.
“Can’t take what anymore?” She begged.
“I can’t take anymore of you and your goddamn indecisiveness!” She jumped again, my cursing startling her.
“No,” I growled, standing. “I’m done with this. Done with all this…this…this torture! I’ll make up your mind for you.”
“What?” There were tears in her eyes as she stood and gazed up at me in disbelief.
“Go on. Go run off you your dog. I know that’s what you want.” She started to interrupt, but I stopped her. “You keep saying that I’m the one you want, but here I find you constantly…pining over him! So go find him and do what’s best for you.”
“You don’t want to marry me. I get it. I’m sure everyone will be much happier to hear of your engagement to Fido. I really didn’t think you cared about what others thought. But I was wrong. I was wrong about so many things, Bella.”
She started to cry, but in the pit of my heart, I knew she was relieved. She’d been thinking about him so much that it was getting annoying. Besides, this arrangement would be best for the both of us.
Smoothly, I opened the door, and held it as she left. It swung back on its hinges with a satisfying slam as I released the handle. Outside, I heard her ancient truck roar to life and then fade away as she drove off. And then I heard it no more.
