"Stop figeting!" Alice scolded me as she fit me into my wedding dress. "Your wedding is in three hours and if you keep wiggling, it'll take that long to put your dress on!" I rolled my eyes. "Alright, alright. Geez Alice, could you have picked a smaller dress?" I complained as I sucked in to fit into the dress. The dress was spaghetti strap with a extremely thin bodice with a detailed floral pattern flowing on it. The dress practically exploded at the skirt with soft billowy fabric that flowed gently into a ridiculously long train. Olivia was getting married to Brant, and we decided to have a joint ceremony. She was engaged to him when Aaron had staged their deaths.
Olivia of course had already tried on her dress and easily slipped out of it to help Alice stuff me into my dress. Olivia's dress was very similar to mine, only taller and hers had one long strap that looped around her neck and back to hold it up, and the floral pattern on hers was different.
"Now to the makeup!" Alice declared when she finally forced the zipper all the way up on my dress. Olivia slipped into her dress and followed us into the bathroom. My hair was already done up in an elaborate gorgeous updo that was going to be impossible for me to take out all by myself. Alice caked on my makeup as Olivia easily put hers on.
Alice of course had to put on her dress and makeup, she was a bride's maid with Rosalie. Her dress was a long, sleeveless and elegant. It was a lilac color with flowing silver designs on it.
When we had finally finished in the bathroom, it was just about time for the wedding. "Good luck!" Alice said to me and she headed out the door. Crap. What if I tripped? This was going to be embarrassing. Olivia, guessing my anxiety, put a hand on my shoulder. "You'll be fine." she assured me. It was going to be strange, someone who looked only sixteen, maybe seventeen, getting married. But in her dress, she looked much older and more mature. A smiled weakly.
Alice returned with Rosalie. Rosalie had warmed up to me quite a bit since last month, and I was very grateful for that. She smiled at me. "You look great." Alice said smiling at me. "Now." she said and opened the door and stepped out onto the aisle. Rosalie followed, walking perfectly in time with the music playing.
"Here goes." I muttered under my breath and Charlie smiled at me and took his place beside me. I began walking slowly out the way I had rehearsed with Alice and Olivia. When I saw Edward, I very nearly gasped out loud. He was gorgeous. He stood in his flawless tuxedo that I didn't even want to know the price on, and when he saw me, his eyes widened and then he smiled my favorite crooked smile. To my embarrassment, I blushed deeply. He put his hand to his mouth to stifle a 'cough' but I knew he was really laughing. I bit back a glare.
I finally took my eyes off of him to look at the people here. I Renee who looked like she was going to cry, Angela, who smiled at me, Jessica, who was staring at me open mouthed, and Mike, who also looked like he was going to cry, but for a different reason. I finally reached Edward and Charlie went to sit down. Olivia took her place next to Brant, who also looked stunning in his tuxedo that went perfectly with his snowy skin and ebony hair, but his eyes were only for Olivia.
Carlisle was to marry us, so he began with the ceremony. It seemed like an eternity before he finally said, "Do you, Isabella Marie Swan, take Edward Anthony Masen Cullen to be your lawfully wedded husband?" I spoke softly. "I do." I said looking deeply into his topaz eyes. Carlisle continued, "and do you, Edward Anthony Masen Cullen, take Isabella Marie Swan to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Instead of looking at Carlisle when he answered, he didn't take his eyes off of me.
I stared at Bella and thought of everything we had been through. James, Victoria, Aaron, the good things as well, the first time I kissed her, when we first went to the meadow. I loved Bella more than life itself. "I do." I nearly whispered. Carlisle continued, but I wasn't listening, until of course he said, "You may kiss the bride." I took Bella in my arms and kissed her more passionately than I ever had before. Her blood didn't bother me at all this time. She was my wife. I heard her heart beat jump around erratically and I pulled back and whispered in her ear, "I love you Bella." "I love you Edward." she replied softly in her angel's voice. At last I was complete. I had Bella with me and we were married.
