Bella's POV

After our things were all packed, we left again. This time I was too nervous to sleep in the car. Alice and Edward sat in the front, and Olivia sat in the back next to me. Olivia apparently noticed my axiousness. "Bella, are you alright?" I nodded unconvincingly. She pulled one ear bud from her ipod out of her ear. "You wanna listen?" she asked me. I smiled, "Sure." I said uneasily. She handed me the ear bud and I stuck it into my ear. It fit perfectly, and of course, I didn't have to worry about Olivia leaving ear wax on it. She grinned at me and clicked a button on her ipod. The music played in my ear at just the right volume.

Olivia had exeptionally good taste in music, but it varied from 'Thriller' to 'Phantom of the Opera'. She had none of the modern junk and rap people call music, only the best of each decade, and incredibly, she knew the words to every song. The music soothed me and made me forget that there were dangerous vampires after both of us. I realized what a big part music had played in Olivia's life.

When we pulled into another hotel parking lot, I pulled out the ear bud. "Edward," I said softly, "We can't keep running forever." he sighed. "I know. This is where it ends." That gave me chills. Olivia put a hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry. It's eight against two. There's no chance he'll win." I smiled weakly. "Thanks." This was so bizarre. A girl who was almost three years younger than me (in one way atleast.) was treating me like her daughter. I fought back a hysterical laugh.

This time it was midday, but luckily, it was raining. We stayed inside just in case.

"Bella," Olivia began with a look that confused me. "Yes?" I said. "You're mind is immune to vampire talents that need to get into your mind, am I right?" "Yes." I said slowly. "So you couldn't see the illusions Aaron was creating?" "No." I said. I couldn't see where she was taking this. "Bella, I need you to tell me something." I nodded. "From under the bed could you see Brant?"

I waited under the bed that Alice had shoved me under. The window opened, and I heard a male voice pleading with Olivia. A dust bunny tickled my nose, and I held in a sneeze. I lifted the bedspread and peeked out to the floor. I saw Alice's feet in front of me, Past hers, I saw Olivia's bare feet facing a pair of black etnies that apparently belonged to the intruder. Suddenly Edward and Jasper had pinned the intruder to the floor and I saw his face. He had ebony black slightly spiked hair that framed his snowy white face. He had the usual purple circles under golden eyes, and his face was divine. I could see why Olivia loved him. From what I could tell he was a few inches taller than Edward, and he looked to be about seventeen. Then Edward and Jasper dragged him out the window.

"Olivia," I began, her eyes widened. "I saw him." "What did he look like??!!" she almost shrieked with anticipation. I desrcibed to her what the face looked like from under the bed. She about went hysterical. "Wha-, How!? He's supposed to be dead!!!"

Olivia's POV

I nearly screamed when I found out my Brant was alive. I had missed him so much. It had been seven years since I had last seen him.. actually only yesterday, but of course I didn't know. Where was he now?! I had to find him. I felt so awful when I realized how awful I had treated him. My Brant was alive. I had to lay down. I layed down on the hard hotel bed. "Olivia?! Are you alright? Is there something wrong?" Bella's concerned voice made me laugh. "No, No, not wrong, it's right! Brant is alive! And I'm going to be with him again."
