We were running through the woods, wind whipping past our faces. There was a big bright moon in the sky, that was so beautiful. We stopped at a clearing that had a huge old tree in the middle. I went to sit on it, Jasper followed.

When was Bella going to be bit? Had it happened already or could I still save her?

“Alice what has gotten into you? You never have a temper like that.” Jasper was sitting by my side, his hand placed at the small of my back.

“I saw her Jasper.”

His face quickly changed.

“What? Your vision was about Bella.”

I nodded. He quickly dropped his hand from my back. “That’s why you couldn’t tell Edward. What did you see?”

“Victoria.”

“Victoria?” His eyes quickly grew wide with anger.
“She kidnapped her with Bella’s own car. I think…it was so fuzzy, and there were no words.”

“What happened?” He had grown anxious.

“She…” I fumbled with the words, as Bella’s pained face flashed in my mind. “Victoria is going to bite her. She’s going to die. I wasn’t sure who it was at first. I only saw the back of Victoria’s head, and I hoped it could have been anyone, anyone but her. But then she grabbed Bella’s neck and bit her.” I could feel the silent tears reaching the surface. “She tried. She tried to fight back, but she didn’t have a chance against Victoria.

“I couldn’t tell Edward. I just couldn’t.” I flew my head into Jasper’s shoulder. The broken sound escaping from my chest.

“When is this going to happen?” he asked, as he stroked my hair.

“I don’t know. It was so short and quick. But they were driving, I don’t know where they were or where they were going.”

“You have to tell Edward.”

“No! I can’t.” I brought my head out of his shoulder and stared into his eyes. “I’m going to Forks. I’ll see if she’s ok first. If she’s not then I’ll tell the others.”

“Alice…” His voice turned stern.

“There’s no reason to get everyone worried if she’s ok. You know my visions are unpredictable. And who knows how long that could be.”

“I’m going with you Alice.”

“No. It’s better that I do this alone. If she is ok, I don’t want to get her hopes up and make her think we’re coming back.”

“Fine.” He took my chin with his hand. “You be safe. I want you back soon.” He kissed my lips.

“I will.”

“What will you tell Carlisle and Esme?”

“They’re going on an extended hunting trip this weekend. So I’ll go then. If everything goes ok, then I’ll be back before they even realize I left. If not then they would need to know.”

“Alright. Please be safe, your going to Forks alone and you know those dogs are still around. And now they have more of them.”

“I’ll be fine.”

Today was only Tuesday. I had to wait three whole days before I would be able to see if she was safe. Three days of anxiously waiting. I hoped that Bella would be able to wait that long.

Please hold on Bella, I’m coming.
