"I hope you and Edward have a happy life together. Although, I will always be here, ready and fighting. No matter what life path you choose. You will always be my afternoon star. The one that shines the brightest while the rest fades into the light..." Jacob's amazing speech sent shivers down my spine. I had a flashback of my life, if I chose him. The same flashback that stained tears onto his shirt when I kissed him that time before the big battle. I had another flashback of all the good times we spent together. How he patched up my heart, when Edward tore it apart. He was the one that repaired the damage. Now, I was tearing his heart apart. Could I ever fix it?...
This is my version of Breaking Dawn. I hope you enjoy it!!! It skips to Chapter 2 - Happy Place. Chapter one was the official chapter that came out with the Eclipse Special Edition.

“Good morning, sleeping beauty,” Edward teased, kissing me awake.
“Good morning, my prince,” I kissed him back.
“You better get ready to meet Newton. You’re going to be late,” Edward spoke out the words like I was a little kid who was going to be late for her first day of school.
“What time is it?” I yawned and got up to pick out some clothes. I settled for some blue long sleeves and denim Capri’s.
“It’s 10:30, Mrs. Cullen.” I shuddered as he pronounced the name like it was already official. I guess I had to get used to it.
“I’ll let you call me that. Just as long as you will be my personal Sleeping Beauty alarm clock,” I giggled as I ran through the door. I rushed out of my pajamas and into my casuals; I wanted to hear Edward’s answer. As I entered the room, I braced myself for the joke Edward thought of.
“Deal. But don’t forget…” He raced next to me and kissed my neck, “I don’t come with a snooze alarm.” He brought his face in front of mines.
“I could live with that,” I surrendered as I flung my arms around him and kissed him with as much enthusiasm as I could imagine. This time, I had to pull myself free.
“I should go now,” I hurried out of his arms. I reached for my phone, card-just in case-and keys.
“Don’t forget to call me,” he whispered loud enough for me to hear and Charlie won’t.
“Bye, Dad!” I skipped towards the door.
“Got a date with Edward?” He guessed wrong, but I was happy that he didn’t say Edward’s name in vein this time.
“No, Dad. I have another date,” I joked. “With Mike, Jessica, Angela, Ben, Tyler, Eric, and Lauren.”
“I’m glad you’re willing to spend sometime with you’re Forks friends.” He approved.
“Okay, I don’t know when I’m going to be back.” I answered.
“No problem, kiddo. I guess I’ll just hang with Billy today.”
I hopped into my Guardian and sped through the streets. The signs still pierced my heart like a blade. I really hope that Jacob will come back. My car roared around the corner and into a parking space. I got out of my car and turned on the alarm.
“So you’re the one who’s been drifting all around town,” a chuckle came from behind me. Mike. In all his Edward-like glory.
I rushed over to hug him. After the long hug, we entered the store and took a seat at the counter.
“The whole gang agreed to come,” Mike stared at me. I was a little confused because I was nothing to stare at. I looked exactly like how I was a month ago. It should be the car that he would turn all his attention to.
“Cool. Oh,” my phone rang in my pocket as I spoke the word. Who would be calling me on my brand new cell phone? I’m pretty sure it didn’t show the caller id when I called Angela, Ben, and Lauren. It must be Edward. I pulled out my iPhone and touched the ‘answer’ button; I forgot to look at the caller id. Mike gasped.
“Hey, Bella.” A soothing voice answered. It wasn’t Edward’s.
“Seth? How did you get my number?” I asked confused yet, happy. I was planning on calling him anyways.
“Edward told me,” His voice was bored.
“And sorry if you get any prank calls later on. I accidentally thought your number in my mind. And Sam wants to, unreasonably, chat with you.” He sounded calm.
“So, what time is the wedding rehearsal again? Tomorrow, right?” I was still confused; he didn’t need to go to the wedding rehearsal.
“Yea. Tomorrow at 3. But Seth. You don’t have to come.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yea. Just spend your life at a much more interesting place.”
“If you say so Bella…” I don’t recall Seth being this easy to convince, I was still confused. Why would he ask about the rehearsal when he would… never mind.
“Okay, I got to go now. I‘ll talk to you later.”
“’Kay. Bye, Bella. Tell Edward that I said hi… again.”
“Sure thing. Bye.” The line went dead and when I turned to start up a conversation with Mike, his jaw was hanging as he stared at the phone.
I held up the phone, allowing him to touch the precious thing. He took the phone and held it in is hands like it was a precious new born baby.
“When. Did. You get this?” He cradled my phone in his cupped hands.
“It’s just a phone, Mike. And I got it yesterday,” I sighed. I’m pretty sure everyone will react the exact same way when they see my phone.
“Whoa,” He was still staring at it. Now, that was something he should be staring at.
“Did Cullen buy you this?” Mike gasped as he felt the features of the phone.
“Well, his sister bought it for me,” I admitted.
“Is she single?” Mike joked. I laughed with him.
“Oh. That reminds me. How are you and Jessica doing? On or off?” Mike wasn’t talking about Jessica, not that he used to talk nonstop about her, or anything. They didn’t grow as close as me and Edward did. Mike was wearing a fake pout on his face. Off.
“We are officially off,” He said nobly as he put his fist on his chest and sat up straight. I giggled. “I couldn’t take her attitude,” He shivered out of his pose.
“She isn’t that bad,” I lied. I couldn’t help but admit it… Jessica was moody, bossy, and she could be a little self-concealed. “Oh,” was all I said after my thought. We laughed.
We started to talk about the good memories we had in high school.
"Remember when Lauren chopped her hair off because of that fashion show director that told her she had the looks but no spunk?" Mike brought back the histerical memory of the first day of senior year.
"How could I forget? I wonder if she's still waiting to be discovered." I pondered.
"Well, she's been down to Port Angeles every second she can," Mike wasn't afraid to admit.
"Really?" We laughed.
We were still laughing when Angela and Ben walked in, hand in hand. I got out of my seat went over to hug them. It was a three person hug. Go figure.
“Hey, guys!” They were still talking at the same time.
“Why do you guys do that?” I asked, a bit irritated. But irritation didn’t appear in my voice. More like amazement.
“Do what?” They answered at the same time.
We all laughed.
“Hey, everyone is here.” Mike shouted as Tyler, Jessica, Eric, and Lauren walked through the door. I gave them all, individually, hugs. We all walked over to the empty booth and started talking stories. It was a long time of random conversations until I thought of something to talk about with the whole group.
“How are you guys doing?” I raised my voice so that everyone could hear me clearly.
“That’s good to hear.” I agreed. “Hey, Angela and Ben. How long have you guys been together?”
“A year and a half,” everyone but Angela and Ben answered.
“They won’t let us forget,” Tyler fake gagged. Ben punched him in the arm.
“Since you and Edward are getting married. Are you guys… inseparable, or something?” Lauren’s grim voice boomed at me.
“Sort of,” I shrugged. My cell phone rang. Could it be Sam?
“Hello?” I answered, without checking the caller id… again. I heard everyone gasp, just as I a predicted.
“How are the wedding preps coming along?” I longed for that husky voice, but it sounded like it went through a lot of torture. Low and sad.
“Jacob? Oh my gosh! Where are you? I miss you! Come back home, please. You had me worried sick! And we’re almost finished with the decorations.” I cheered. Everyone went silent.
“Mm…” Was all he said. I waited. “Did you already fill my seat?” He sounded happier now.
“Of course not! You’re coming?!” I felt like dancing, but I decided not to because I was squished between Jessica and Tyler, who were both dead silent.
“Yay… Wait… How did you get my number?” I asked as I changed my personality from over-excited to suspicious.
“Seth was shouting you’re number in his head,” Jacob sounded irritated.
“Oh yea, he mentioned that.” I admitted.
“Well, I’ll see you soon, Bells.” Jacob’s voice started to trail off.
“Okay, but can’t you-” the line went dead. I sighed then looked up at my silent friends.
There was a long moment of silence as I sighed again, gazing out the window. Is Jacob really coming to my wedding? I can’t believe it! But how am I going to face my best friend after I hurt him so badly?
“Who was that?” Mike whispered.
“That was just my best friend…” I pondered. And my true love…
“Okay…” Mike was still whispering. “Are you okay?”
“Of course. You don’t have to whisper anymore Mike.”
“If everything’s okay. Then why aren’t you showing off your new gifts?” Mike joked, trying to break the mood.
“What new gifts?” Jessica responded in a grim tone, identical to Lauren‘s.
“Well, since I’m marrying Edward. He gave me some gifts,” I wandered, still looking out of the window.
“Wait. Don’t tell me that that is yours.” Jessica nudged towards my car.
“Fine. That Mercedes Guardian is not mines. I rode the bus here,” I didn’t need Jessica’s bad attitude right now.
“Would you stop sassing her, Jess? Anyways… What else did he give you?” Tyler tried to help.
Which should I introduce first? Phone or card? I’ll talk about the card first then I’ll let Mike show off my phone. I know he wants to.
“I have a so called black credit card. If that’s what you wanted to hear,” I surrendered, giving Mike the okay look.
“And she has an iPhone!” Mike busted in, right on cue.
I heard oohs and aahs. That didn’t surprise me.
“Hey Bella, do you mind if me and Eric check out your car?” Eric finally spoke.
“Sure,” I tossed my key to Tyler. I trusted them.
Angela and Ben were still making kissy faces at each other.
Jessica and Lauren both had the same look on their faces. Jealousy.
I caught Jessica whispering, “I had a big chance with Edward. Then she came in.” Whatever. I rolled my eyes.
I walked over to Mike. I wanted to be back in Edward‘s arms. I swear; those girls don’t understand the meaning of personal property.
“Hey, Mike. I got to go now, “I grimaced at the gossiping girls.
“Sure. But we have to hang out sometime tomorrow,” Mike offered.
“Well, I have a wedding rehearsal… Want to come?”
“Rehearsal? Do you I have to wear something fancy?” Mike giggled, gesturing to his wore out shirt and dirty,-originally white and now brown-pants.
“No. All you have to do is come at three and pretend you’re a rag doll at a tea party.”
“Not to me,” I whispered.
“I’ll see you at three, then.”
“Okay! Bye Mike. Nice seeing you guys again!” I shouted as I brought Mike into another hug and headed for the door.
“Did you guys have fun?” I asked Tyler and Eric who were still inspecting my car.
“Absolutely. This is amazing.” Tyler answered.
“See you later, Bella.” Eric hugged me.
“Yea, see ya,” Tyler hugged me after Eric let go of me.
“I’ll let you guys drive it sometime.” I offered.
“Sweet,” They accepted.
I turned the key in the ignition and let it roar to life.
I pulled up into my drive-way; Charlie’s cruiser wasn’t in the driveway. He probably went through with his idea of going over to Billy. Another blade pierced through my heart as I thought about Billy Black, Jake’s dad. But instead of pain that sound leak through. It was joy that was gushing out of the wound. Jacob promised that he was coming to the wedding. Now, the best man’s seat will no longer be vacant.
I jogged up to the door. Edward’s arms wrapped around my waist. He pulled me closer as he bent down and whispered in my ear.
“I don’t want to be anywhere near Jessica and Lauren ever again,” I was tense for a minute. Then I relaxed as Edward stared into my eyes.
I unlocked the door and slumped over to the couch, plunging onto it. I took the remote and turned on the TV, flipping aimlessly through the channels.
“Do you want to watch anything?” I asked Edward, who was suddenly sitting next to me. I think I’m starting to get used to vampire speed because I wasn’t startled.
“Nothing,” he just stared at me, I didn’t take my eyes off the TV. As I looked for something that might interest me. I couldn’t find anything. Edward started playing with my hair.
“Today is officially boring,” I confessed. Edward was still occupied with twirling around my brown locks. He paused for a second, closing his eyes in concentration.
“Since your free today… Do you want to play a couple of board games with Alice, Jasper, Emmett, and Rosalie?” I’m not good at playing board games, therefore, playing with vampires? It’s worth a shot.
“Beats spending time in this boring dump,” Edward smiled my favorite crooked smile. In a flash, I was on Edward’s back and we were racing towards their house. I buried my face in his shoulder. Even though I got used to opening my eyes while he ran, there was nothing to look at when everything tends to blur out. In a matter of seconds, he pulled me off his back. He grabbed my hand as we walked into the oversized living room.
“Ha! Beat you again Jasper!” Emmett was rubbing victory in Jasper’s defeated face.
“You cheated!” Jasper argued as he stood up, slamming his palm on the Monopoly board. The table shook.
“No I didn’t!”
“Yes you did!”
They glared at each other for a few seconds. Then Emmett pounced on Jasper. They were wrestling on the floor; apparently, they still never realized that Edward and I were in the room.
“Hi boys,” I giggled while I watched Jasper and Emmett roll on the floor.
“Hi Bella,” they said at the same time, looking up for a moment then going back to wrestling.
“Don’t worry, they wrestled after every game. So, that’s about… thirty games in total.” Alice reassured. I couldn’t help but laugh at my soon-to-be-brother-in-laws.
“What’s the next game on the list?” Edward asked as he took a seat next to Rosalie, bringing me to sit on the long, circular, white, leather couch next to Alice.
“Umm… Hang man. Pairs,” Rosalie struggled out the words as she and Alice broke Emmett and Jasper apart. They untangled each other and regained their original seat, still glaring at each other.
“Okay. Alice, you and Jasper can go first,” Rosalie instructed gesturing to a white board hanging up on the wall behind them.
Alice and Jasper whispered to each other. Then finally, Alice let out a small giggle and started to draw lines on the board. I glanced at Edward, he had his eyes closed in concentration again. I elbowed him in the ribs, which only gave me a bruise. He opened his eyes and turned to focus on me.
“No cheating,” I whispered. Obviously, Alice heard me because she gave Edward the stink eye. He just smiled.
“Okay, we’re finished. This is all Jasper’s idea.” Jasper had a smirk on his face. It had to be something about Emmett.
On the board, Alice drew out: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. Emmett scowled at Jasper.
“Do you know what the answer is?” I accused Edward in a whisper.
“Not if you don’t want me to,” Edward winked. I just nudged him softly, I was still recovering from my recent bruise.
“E,” Rosalie offered. Emmett glared at her, she shrugged.
Alice filled in the spaces that held an E.
“M,” I guessed; more like knew.
“K,” Edward jumped into the game.
“T,” Emmett groaned.
“Emmett, would you like to guess a vowel?” Jasper teased. Emmett let out a huge growl as he looked at the board. It said: Emmett hunts l_ike a g_rl.
“Yes. As a matter of fact I will. I’m gonna guess an ‘I‘. And also, I guess that you’ll need another eye after you write in the final answer.” They were wrestling on the floor as soon as he finished the sentence.
“Bella. Do you and Edward want to go next?” Alice asked as she and Rosalie tried to untangle Jasper and Emmett again.
“Sure.” I accepted. “What do you want to put down?” I whispered to Edward, eyeing the still-tangled wrestlers.
“How about… The lion fell in love with the lamb.” The suggestion brought tears into my eyes, but I pushed them back as I drew the lines. By the time I finished drawing, everyone was sitting patiently on the couch.
“A,” Jasper asked, a little confused. I giggled at his expression, drawing in the A.
“C,” Emmett guessed wrong. I drew a circle.
“L.” Jasper said, holding his thumb and pointer finger to his forehead, facing Emmett. Emmett growled.
“K,” Emmett guessed wrong again. Edward giggled as he grabbed the pen and drew a line connecting to the circle.
“W,” Finally! Emmett guessed right.
“Q!” Emmett shouted, excited. Edward drew a straight line through the line connected to the circle. “Aw, man.”
“F.” Rosalie, glared at Emmett as she said the letter.
“D?” The stick man was one leg away from dying.
“Way to go Emmett! Shout your mouth or I’ll draw a baseball cap on that stick man and pretend that the picture is destiny and is meant to be fulfilled!” Jasper shouted at the crouching Emmett.
“Hey, Alice. For the record, how many times, today, have they wrestled?”
“Thirty-three, if you include the entrance.”
“Wow.” I gazed out the window, it was twilight. The safest time of the day, for vampires. “Umm… Alice, what time is it?”
“Five thirty? I really need to get home. Edward?”
“At your service,” I giggled as Edward as I jumped into his cradled arms. We might as well practice it, we would have to do this once we get home from the wedding.
“See you guys later!” I shouted as Edward sped out of the room.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as I watched the blur of the trees stream by. Was Charlie going to be home by now? He’s with Billy, so that means that he’ll be home in a few minutes. But if he is home, how do I explain my unnoted wander? I’ll just tell him that I went out on a walk and I didn’t expect him to be home so early. Perfect.
Charlie was home. Edward set me down behind a big tree.
“I’ll see you in my room,” I whispered, kissing Edward lightly on the lips.
“Only a little peck on the lips?” He pouted.
“You’ll get the rest in my room,” I laughed.
I jogged out on to the lighted street and onto the driveway.
“Hey, Bells. Where did you go?” Charlie was shouting over the TV.
“I went out for a walk. Sorry I didn’t leave a note for you. I didn’t think you’d be home so early.” I imitated my thought perfectly.
“Okay. No problem. By the way. I bought some pizza. So you can take a break from cooking for your 3-year-old man.” He still remembered the monkey suite incident.
“I don’t mind cooking for you,” I disagreed. I walked over to the kitchen, took a piece and headed towards the my room. I reached for the doorknob and took a bite of my pizza.
Edward was sitting on my bed seemingly “asleep”.
I laid down next to him, cuddling him and taking another bite of the pizza. Edward wrinkled his nose.
“How do you eat those things?” His eyes were still closed.
“Very easily,” I teased and took several bites in silence.
I was exhausted by the time I finished the pizza slice. So exhausted that I fell into a deep sleep as soon as I closed my eyes.
