New Beginnings

Summary:
Elsie von Mueller is a talanted young at heart witch who moves to Forks. She eventually meets the Cullens and has some fun times with them and some sad. here are some tid bits of the first chapter but you have to read to get the rest. The one thing I really hated being trapped in a 19 year olds body was that I had to constantly be enrolled in high school or college. In my previous lives I was a musicians muse, a lover of a very important man, a scholar, a musician myself and many more.

As I got out of the car not only did I have 5 pairs of golden eyes on me, but also two more sets that appeared on the porch in a split second.

The smallest girl skipped up to the porch, “I told you she would come, I told you,” she sang with a musical voice.

“That’s nice Alice, now go on inside,” the mother figure said patting Alice on her head.

“Edward who is our guest?” the handsome man asked walking towards us.

“This is Elise von Mueller” Edward spoke out loud.

That’s nice Edward, but why is she here? The man asked Edward in his thoughts.

I chuckled softly to myself and kept staring at the ground, and then I saw in the corner of my eye the man must have heard my laugh and was now staring at me.

“Well, Carlisle she and I were having a discussion today.” Edward started to say but he struggled with the words.

Should I tell them since this is so difficult for you? I asked Edward playfully.

He just glared at me and my smile widened.

Well? I asked once more and he simply nodded once.

“Carlisle, was it?” I asked the man who stilled looked puzzled.

“I’m a witch, and I have been for a long while. I talked to Edward today in my mind.” I said with a huge sigh, it felt good telling someone else about me.

“That makes since” He said shaking his head in agreement.

“Shall we take this conversation inside, you must be cold Elsie.” The beautiful lady said extending a hand to me.

The inside of the house was just as magnificent as the exterior. The front hall had very high ceilings and the colors of the rooms I could see were very pale shades of cream and gold. When I noticed the room to my left I saw a very old but still grand looking piano standing on a stage.

The lady caught my eyes wonder to the side, “Do you play?”

“Not anymore, I prefer the violin.” I told her. It had been such a long time since I played the piano but we still kept ours just incase I got a wild hair and played again.

The lady let us into the living room and we sat on the very comfortable couches, “I’m Esme by the way.”

“You have a very lovely home.” I said meaning every word.

“So why did you quit playing the piano,” Carlisle asked sitting next to Esme.

“I just stopped loving it, ever since Ludwig died I just stopped playing myself.” I told them imaging the face of Ludwig.

“Ludwig, you don’t mean Ludwig van Beethoven?” Edward asked incredibly confused.

“That’s who I mean.” I told him with a saddened voice.

“How old are you?” Edwards asked still confused.

“Edward, that’s not a nice thing to ask a lady.” Esme said lightly smacking him on the shoulder.

“I’m not offended, gosh let me think it’s been a long time since I thought about it.” I said trying to recall my actual age and not my fake one.

“Well, you can’t be as old as me.” Carlisle said relaxing back into the couch.

“I’m going to be 240 years old coming this October.” I said hesitantly thinking they would consider I was old.

“Ha, I still have you beat by a hundred years.” Carlisle said with a smile on his face.

“Why did you stop aging?” Esme asked with anticipation.

“Simple I cast a spell on myself because my Amadeus left me. So I cast a spell of immortality and it became more of a curse.” I said, I could feel a tear welling up inside but I didn’t want to unleash my unsettled emotions on them.

“Your not talking about Mozart now are you?” Edward asked with a dumbfounded look on his face.

“Yes, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, I had a thing for musicians at that time, and it turned out that I was a very good muse also.” I said smiling tugging at the corners of my lips.

“What do you mean by muse?” Carlisle asked.

“When Amadeus came to Vienna, it was just a few days after meeting me that he wrote his piano sonata number 11, then it was the same for Ludwig and he wrote Für Elise.” I told them recalling my favorite memories of both men.

“Wait Für Elise, that was for you?” Edward asked puzzled once again.

“That’s what Fur means, plus how many other Elise’s do you know? We kept our affair secret, and out of the public eye.” I said with a huge grin now on my face.

After a while of more secret sharing it was time for me to leave and go back to my house for the night.

Edward walked me to my car like a gentleman, “So you take a left back at the one really old tree then you make a quick right.” He tried to explain the route back to the main highway so that I would not get lost.

“Edward, did you forget that I’m a witch. If I get lost, which never happens, I can just use my talents.” I told him getting into my car, “Tomorrow its your turn for explanations.”

“Well, that’s fine but I will meet you at your house, I’m not going to school tomorrow.” Edward said leaning down to my window.

“Why not?” I asked putting my seat belt on.

“I will tell you tomorrow, I can ask Alice how to get to your house and I will explain everything.” Edward said.

“Alright, then till tomorrow.” I agreed.
