This might be the sequel to Alone Again, depending on how it turns out... Maybe not. It doesn't have much in common with Alone Again, but it sort of just...fits. I don't know--you can tell me--when you REVIEW!!! Which you are going to do, right?? So yes Edward leaves again, and Bella finds herself alone. She tracks down another vampire and demands him to changer her. Now, as a vampire, Bella can chase Edward forever... FINALLY! THE LONG AWAITED LAST CHAPTER!! Sorry that this only took forever and a day, I just was busy, then I was updating my other stories, and then I almost forgot about this one. But never fear, it's up, and I'm also going to post an "outtake". It's just a cute clip of Edward being jealous. :D Enjoy!
Okay, so i'm taking a shower, and the song comes on the radio (yes, i blast the radio in the bathroom so that it covers my terrible one man band in the shower) Thanks for the Memories by Fall out boy, and i was intrigued by the lyrics and it sort of started this thought. What if Edward left, again?? How would Bella react?? So yeah, that's where this story came from...<33 Oh yes, and Btw, REVIEW!!!!!!
5. Epilogue: The Astoria Meadow
Rating 4.5/5 Word Count 514 Review this Chapter
In fact, life was better then good.
After being in Astoria for three months, I was finally back to normal. I was in the arms of my angel, and living in perfect bliss. Now, without clumsiness or human needs to get in the way of our relationship, he could finally treat me like I wasn’t a china doll, about to break with any sudden movement. I loved it.
After moving back in with the Cullens, I was on good terms with the rest of the family, even Rosalie. It seems as though seeing Edward in his “zombie state”, as he put it, had made her realize how important I was to the family, and had overcome her selfishness to welcome me to the family. Now, in the place I had longed to be from the moment I had laid eyes on the Cullens, I was finally happy.
“Last one to the meadow is a rotten egg!” I shouted, racing ahead into the surrounding forest. We had even found our own Astoria meadow--not as pretty as our other one, but close.
“Hey! No fair! You got a head start!” Edward cried, chasing after me. He would soon catch me, because he was a little faster then me, but I ran anyways, laughing the entire way.
As we reached the meadow, me first since Edward had purposely let me win, he wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me into the air. “I guess that makes me the rotten egg then…” He murmured in my ear, twirling me around and planting his lips on mine. With Edward no longer patronized by the scent of my blood, and me no longer so breakable, the kisses were much more passionate, and a few minutes into it I pushed him away, skipping out into the sunlight.
“What gives?” Edward teased, furrowing his brow in mock confusion.
“You’re drunk…” I said, smirking.
“Drunk?” He objected, “and how, exactly, can a vampire be ‘drunk’?”
“Your intoxicated by my very presence…” I said, repeating the very words he had said to me on our first excursion to the Forks meadow. I quickly scaled a tall oak tree in half a second and sank gracefully onto one of the outstretched limbs. Edward followed, sitting next to me and wrapping his arm around my waist.
Leaning over, he whispered in my ear. “So very true…”
For a long moment, I could feel his eyes boring holes into the side of my head, and finally, I turned to him. “What?”
“You know what?” He said, a thoughtful look in his eyes. “You dazzle me…”
I smiled, and then turned my head away. “Well, you’ve lost your charm…” I turned to him and smirked.
He plastered a look of mock surprise on his face and then shook his head. “Well then, I suppose I might have to leave again… You know, make you see what your missing out on…” He smirked back at me.
I inched closer to him, laying my head on his shoulder. “Don’t.” I said simply. “I’m done Chasing You.”
