"Edward, I'm going to a spa day with a friend tomorrow. She's from Pheonix, and is only going to be here for the weekend. Is that OK?" I asked Edward. Edawrd had 'gone home' for the night and was laying in bed with me.

"Sure. What time are you leaving?" He asked.

"10:00."

"OK." He leaned down and kissed the top of my head. "Now go to sleep."

I drifted to sleep thinking of the dangerous stunt I was going to pull the next day.

*************

I gave Edward a kiss on the cheek and walked out to my truck. Once I was out of sight, I pulled out the map. The skydiving center was about a half hour away.

I had never gotten over my liking of dangerous activities. I still had the motorcycle, and injured myself even more frequently. I felt bad about lying to Edward, but he wouldn't let me if I told him the truth.

I pulled up to the skydiving center and climbed out of my truck. I walked in and got suited up. My hands started to shake as I borded the plane. I listened to the instructions of my guide, and then I jumped when he gave the signal.

The air whipped at me and I grinned. This was scaring the hell out of me, but it was fun. I was quenching my thirst for danger. I loved it.

*********************

After I landed, I went up one more time. Then, it was time to go home.

I changed into my regular clothes, and hopped in my truck. It wasn't until I was on the highway that I noticed the flashy Porshe behinde me. The sight of that car was scaring me more than the skydiving.

I drove without music, and I could practically hear my heart pounding.

When I pulled into the drive, Alice pulled up next to me. Luckily, Charlie wasn't home.

She stepped out of her car and glared at me.

"Hi Alice." I managed to croak out.

She just glared at me.

"Sorry."

More glaring.

I bit my lip.

"I am going to tell Edward, you know."

I nodded.

"He's going to kill you."

Then, her eyes glazed over. When she snapped out of it, she grinned.

"Edward read my mind. He's trying to decide whether or not to kill you."

I must have looked pretty scared, because Alice laughed.

"Don't worry, I'll stsay here and protect you. Although, I have to ask, Why did you do it?"

I sighed. "I'm not sure. Ever since I got a motorcylce, and the whole cliff diving thing, I've had a thing for danger. I like it."

She groaned. "Bella, you cannot keep purposely putting yourself in danger. It's hard enough keeping you out of danger when you're NOT putting yourslef in harms way! You need to stop!'

Just as she finished her little rant, Edward pulled up.

Alice even looked scared. She stepped towards me, and then turned around to look at Edward. I clung to her arm.

"Bella, what the hell were you thinking?" He said through gritted teeth.

Alice spoke up before I could. " Edward, Bella just wanted to have some fun. I was watching out for her. I knew she wasn't going to gest hurt."

"I'm sorry I lied. I knew that you wouldn't let me if I asked, so I had no choice," I said, looking down at my shoes.

"NO CHOICE?! What do you mean? You had to jump from a plane?! You had to?"

I bit my lip, silently willing Alice to say something. She didn't.

After a while of uncomfterble silence, Edward sighed.

"Tell me next time Bella. If I would have at least know where you were, I wouldn't have worried so much."

I looked up and walked over to him. He hugged me and I hugged him back.

"I'm sorry." I said into his chest.

"It's OK. I love you."

I grinned. "I know."
