As I drove my head was filled with last nights memories of fun and as I pulled into the school parking lot I wondered what today would be filled with.

As I walked to my first class I was greeted by an overfriendly student who I now came to realize as Mike.

“Hi Bella!” He looked at me with a grin.

“So, the suns actually shining today!” I wondered if he was really trying small talk on me today, although I was happy that the sun was actually shining today.

“Yeah it’s really nice.” I smiled at him as two other students that I recognized as Angela and Jessica walked up to us. Jessica was the first to speak and I could tell she was upset. I had come to realize that she had a major crush on Mike.

“So Mike I hear the weathers going to be good this weekend.” He nodded his head. “It should be perfect for our La’ Push trip.” When she said the name I remembered it to be a beach on the Indian reservation that I had visited when I was a little girl. It was a strain of memories that I tried to forget of when my parents were alive. I was brought back into the conversation when Mike asked me a question.

“So Bella, would you like to come with us?” I nodded my head not really wanting to go.

“Yeah but I’ll have to see if that’s O.k.” Mike nodded his head with a smile and then the bell rang. The rest of the day was filled with planning the trip.

When I got home I found Edward on the couch sitting watching the TV. When I entered the room he looked up at me with a smile.

“Every one else went to go see our grandmother, well Carlisle’s mother that is. I stayed here so you wouldn’t be alone they went to stay there for the night.” I nodded my head. He then patted the area next to him conveying that he wanted me to sit down. “Let’s watch a movie.” I nodded my head as I sat down a foot away from him as he pressed play on a remote that I hadn’t seen in his other hand.

We were a little ways into the movie when I realized I had already seen the movie. It was about a girl who had moved in with her father and started a new school only to find that some of the students were Vampires. She then fell in love with one. Their love was forbidden. He wanted to kill her for her blood but loved her to much to do it. The rest of it had something to do with a really bad vampire trying to kill her and her love saved her. He then turned her into a vampire after a school dance and apparently they lived happily ever after.

I watched the movie in silence as I felt eyes staring at me.

~Edwards pov~

She was watching the movie with an odd look on her face. The movie was the closest thing to reality. Well my reality anyways. The only part that was untrue was the happy ending. There was no such thing for our kind. I watched her face with amusement at first. I was watching the movie at the same time but yet my eyes never left her face. Soon I found myself looking at the details of her beauty. Her soft brown hair, her satin lips, and her heart shaped face. Before the credits started to roll I turned my head back to the TV.

~Bella’s pov~

When the movie was over he got up and turned the TV off and slowly started to walk back to the couch.

“So Bella how did you like the movie?” He asked me with a small smirk on his face and a raised eyebrow.

“I’ve already seen it before but I like it. What did you think of it?” I looked at him wandering if he would tell me the truth or if he would be like any other who’d just seen a sappy romantic movie.

“I thought it was quite interesting. Although I was hoping she’d stay human.” He then turned away to hide what looked like an agonizing look on his face and as he turned back it was gone. “So, what would you like to eat? Esme made some chicken salad for you.”

“That sounds good.” I nodded and he headed into the kitchen as I fallowed.

While he was grabbing everything I heard some thunder and after a few seconds lightning struck down and the electric went out.

“Bella, are you o.k.” I nodded even though I knew he couldn’t see me.

“Yes, I’m fine.” I looked around but could barely see anything in front of me.

“I’ll be right back with some candles.” And with that I sat waiting for him to return.
