Death Comes Back

Victoria .

Victoria was back.

How?

“Back in the flesh, and ready for flesh,” Victoria said.

I stutter, “H-h-how did you get back?”

“Easy. Volturi made a potion, took my ashed, soaked them in the potion, and I came back alive,” continued Victoria, “I was more than pleased. Now…now you have to go, and soon.”

Victoria sped off into the beautiful Hawaiian sunset, and a trail of dust behind her.

I was completely frozen. I couldn’t move one bit. I could hear my breath exhaling and inhaling.

“Bella, love, this is another trick from the Volturi to make you join them again,” comforted Edward.

“Edward, I am getting the family on an immediate flight to Hawaii, okay?” asked Alice.

“Please, and hurry.” insisted Edward.

“Wait, Alice, I thought they were on a flight already!” Edward inquired.

“They were SUPPOSED to…they flight got cancelled…” muttered Alice.

“AND YOU COULDN’T SEE THAT?” screamed Edward.

“For your information, I was focused on Bella,” retorted Alice.

“Well, hmph, thank you for having concern for my wife, but I can take care of her just fine,” Edward said.

“Your welcome!” Alice added.

Alice opened the hotel room door, took one last glance for the day, and walked back to her room at human speed.

Edward and I stared deep into each other’s eyes. When I need an answer his eyes are the answer.

His liquid topaz eyes were beautiful. The beautiful eyes were topaz with little flecks of amber.

“Edward?” I questioned.

“Yes? Edward answered.

I felt my throat close up and I was feeling a bit dizzy.

“Edward, I know you love me. I know you want to be with me forever, and you are going to be with me forever. You were even if I didn’t marry you. But, why did you ask me to marry you?” I mumbled.
