Dream On spin off-my style!

Summary:
If you haven't read Charmingal's Dream On, (which you should ;D ) this won't make much sence, so go check out her brilliant readings too, ok? Basically, we've (we meaning me and a few other idiots/clever peoples alike) moved to the not-so-sunny town of Forks, and by the magic of fan-fiction have ended up finding the Vampires and Werewolves! This is my side of the story (Looney's view), hopefully with extra madness, weirder humour, and rib-cracking...although I don't take responsibility for any Doctor bills...

Notes:
you wanted to do this of your own free will you poor, poor person

14. XIV ~ DARES; HOW I LOVE THEM

Rating 5/5   Word Count 1347   Review this Chapter

“RUN, IT’S THE COPPERS-THEY’RE ONTO US!” cried Lexhen from behind me, swaying from side to side with excitement. Good to know she was high on adrenalin.

“Lexhen.” I said steadily. “STOP SWAYING!”

“You might want to look back at the road” she pointed forwards calmly.

“Why?” I asked, looking at her behind me, wistfully staring ahead. “I don’t think I will thanks.”

She was going to trick me or something.

“No really.” She was shaking my shoulder. “Loon, look around.”

“Nope. I’m fine.” I crossed my arms.

“HELEN, BLOODY TURN AROUND!” she screamed at me.

You know when a character looks around to find the very worst possible thing behind them, well; much like them I slowly turned my head around to the front. My jaw dropped.

There was a huge truck crossing the road. And we were going to hit it. Full on.

“HOLY SH-” I shouted. My reaction was to duck as low as possible. The wheels of the truck being a metre high, and the bike flattened to the ground as I leant over. Lexhen was digging her nails into my skin as we dropped. Right under the truck’s wheels.

We came out the other side and found the bike skidding out from under us and onto a lawn. I was shaking and my eyes were wide still, even as 10 minutes later I picked myself up and the bike too. Wheeling it inside the garage. It was only a little green on the sides now.

“DUDE- LET’S DO THAT AGAIN!” called Lexhen, jumping up and down.

“You’re never going to be let out of this house again.” Incredibly strong hands gripped my waist. “Never.”

“You’re sounding like Tolley.” I muttered, and tried to move out of his vice grip. It didn’t work, as the next second; I was being carried over Edward’s shoulder out of the garage. As we all walked, or were carried out of the garage, I noticed that night had already rolled over; covering the grey sky from earlier with a darker grey. Forks really needed a sunny-spell sometime.

I was rudely awakened from my fantasy of having the sun, by being politely pushed onto the settee. As I looked around the living room; I noticed that, for some reason, our numbers had multiplied- I surely hadn’t been dreaming for that long? Edward came and balanced on the arm of the chair next to me, and I raised my eyebrow at him curiously.

“Hey Helen!” Tegan smiled over at me from where she had been talking to Emmett on the opposite sofa. Lexhen seemed to have made it off the PS3 for a minute, to be sitting on the floor with Mario-Kart plugged into her DS instead. Next her was Dodger, and her selection of Jake (this time not half naked), then me, Edward, Rosalie and Alice. Wow- a nice turn out; spare for the fact I didn’t know why they were all here.

“For your little game you had planned for this evening.” Edward muttered, just at the time everyone fell silent. Then it clicked.

I smiled evilly.

“Brilliant.”

“So, I take it we’ve been dragged into playing dares then?” Lexhen didn’t even bother to raise her head from her screen.

“Seems so. Maybe we should go…” Dodger looked over at me warily. Both Lexhen and she were the only ones in this room who knew what fun I was going to have right now…

“Don’t ruin my fun now.” I pretended to pout.

“If we don’t get a move on I’m out of here.” Rosalie said from where she sat. She was lucky Edward was in the way of her pretty face at the moment.

“Fine-oh waits.” Alice’s eyes glazed over as she saw something. I remembered the earlier conversation we’d had with her. The one where Lexhen and I had called up Jasper inside the car… Yes Alice was useful when she was on our side…

“Nothing- It’s just I have a feeling by the end of this night you won’t be walking out of here too happily Rose.” Alice laughed, followed by Edward’s own laughter.

“Whatever.” She snapped back at them. Let’s get the ball rolling then.

“Let’s go; I’m first.” I glared at everyone menacingly. Better start off with an easy dare; false sense of security and all that.

“Edward, you have to take off your shirt.” I didn’t look at him, as I said the magic words. I never said I was going to be fair.

Lexhen finally looked up from the screen she was playing on, to give me a suspicious look.

“Helen, don’t think I will thanks.” Edward folded his arms across his chest defiantly-and that was the easiest dare of the lot. Shame really.

“Fine.” I said coolly and looked around for another target. Lexhen’s eyes narrowed even more. She knew he wasn’t going to be forgiven for that.

“Emmett; you man enough?”

“Bring it on. Human’s dares are nothing.” He said proudly. I grinned. The exact response I wanted.

“Okay then…You’re going to have to run outside with only one piece of clothing on, and ask our neighbours if they have any cardboard to borrow. If they ask; you need it for sentimental purposes.”

I watched my words sunk in. His eyes flicked to my face to see if I was lying. I wasn’t.

“You have 30 seconds.” I told him, and leant back into the sofa. It was fun already.

Emmett grinned at me. “As I said, easy”

So perhaps it was going to get interesting now that he was going to fight back.

As he stood up and ran outside, the clothes falling off one at a time, I waited for a few seconds. Then I heard the doorbell that the neighbours had recently installed next door. In the next 17 seconds, Emmett was back, clothes in a huddle in his hands and a triumphant grin on his face. Sadly the rest of the room went up in uproar.

“Hey look at the time- I’ve got to go. Aro needs help…err….ironing the clothes!” Tegan took a step back into the wall hastily. Rosalie looked bewildered and even Edward looked mortified to even be in the same room as Emmett now. Shame Tolley and Jasper weren’t here.

“Emmett; put some clothes on; you’re scaring me. And Lexhen’s drooling” Dodger said to him quickly, while Lexhen stared up at him, licking her lips slightly.

“No one moves.” I instructed the room at large.

“My turn!” Emmett smiled at them all, while subtly locking the door. It wouldn’t stop anybody, but the clicking sound made us all gulp silently. “And I pick my dear friend; Alice. This is payback for the permanent marker incident two years ago Al.”

“You’re such a sore loser” She smiled at him, then her smiled slid of her face as she saw what was going to happen to her. “Okay; who even has a pirate costume?”

Lexhen guiltily raised her hand. We all looked at her questioningly.

“It was for a party!” she sighed exasperatedly.

“Anyway, for a week, including school, our little Alice must dress as a pirate; muddy water and all!” Emmett grinned at Alice’s expression. I wouldn’t have. I think I would have been running away at full pelt at the murderous glance.

She growled angrily at him, but he simply smiled even broader. “Anyway…” Edward back tracked. “Who’s next?” His eyes flickered around the room, and I didn’t fail to notice how he looked slightly worried.

“Tegan?” I offered her politely.

“N-no!” She stuttered, and Rosalie laughed from across the room.

“Can’t take a dare Tegan?” Rosalie asked her smiling.

“Rosalie.” I flicked my head to hers. She needed payback for being so…anti-dare.

“Don’t you even think about it, human!” She snarled at me.

“Don’t be like that Rose.” Alice put a comforting hand on her shoulder. “It’s only a little fun”

“Sure it is.” She stood tall. “I’m up for it. Sure I am.” She sounded tough.

One dare to crack Rosalie…I thought to myself, ideas spinning in my head. I finally settled on one. Edward looked over at me. “I may not be able to protect you from her when she’s like that.”

“Tegan; we’re going to need you.” I laughed over at her.

“What is it then?” Rosalie looked over at me, like nothing I would say could possibly get to her.

“Rosalie; tonight...you’re going bald”
