Bella finds an old quarter from when she was little. Readers- I’m moving accounts. This was a shared account with someone who doesn’t really like me anymore. So I’ll post this to all the stories I wrote (I’ll only continue some) then you can read them. Continuing: Complications, Goneandnevercomingback., Marionette, mynewLife, and SpilledMascara. If what you read wasn’t listed and you want it continued, tell me through the “contactauthors” button on the “elainamorrigan” account why I should continue. -elle/Twizzler
By Twisler Terrier This happened to me and Kitty once and I got to thinking... what if this happened to the twilight characters.

"Bella are you sure?" Edward said, "I can stay, I don't need to hunt yet. I can-"
"Stop! Jeez you’re driving me nuts!" I interrupted, "We've had this argument over and over again." he opened his mouth to say something but I cut him off, "Weboth know you need to eat."
"Edward, who always wins these arguments?"His eyes narrowed. I raised my eyebrows. He sighed, "Fine."
"That's better." I said, smug, "Besides I'll have plenty to do. Renee sent me some boxes of my old stuff I left behind, memories and what not."
"Okay, bye. Call if you need me." I nodded. He hugged me and ran out the door. I ran up the stairs and grabbed the boxes. This should be fun. I'll enjoy remembering the times these items created. I got the closest box and carefully reached in, just old Halloween costumes. I removed the last one and gasped in surprise, I thought it was lost forever.
My lucky quarter. When I was in the seventh grade the vending machine would take this quarter, count it, and spit it back out, free snacks all year. When I got to ninth grade I lost it.
I shoved it in my pocket and continued through the boxes.
I was lying in bed that night, waiting, and sighed when the familiar, comforting cold arms wraped around me."Hey." He said."Hey." I answered, "Guess what!" I said enthusiastically.
"Look!" I reached over and grabbed the quarter from my night stand.
"I see." He had this amused look on my face.
"Don't look at me like that!" I said in a scolding tone, "This was a very important quarter!"
"How do you know that’s the one?"
I sighed as if that was the stupidest question ever, "It's a Texas quarter, they aren't that common." I told him the lucky quarter's story and he had a huge grin on his face by the end, "Stop! It's a beloved childhood item! You wouldn't understand!" I laughed.
"Okay Bella, go to sleep now."
The next morning...
"Lucky quarter!" Emmett laughed. I was fuming, I told Edward not to tell them, but when Alice saw she made him inform her by threatening to break his Beetles record. I liked them as much as him, so we caved to the ransom.
I'd had enough of him laughing at me. I lunged at him, but Alice saw so Edward saw and he restrained me. "No Bella, you'll hurt yourself." he said."I don't care!" I shrieked, struggling to get away from Edward, "Let me at him!"
That just made Emmett laugh harder. I sighed and relaxed, so did Edward then I lunged at Emmett, which Edward saw to late, and punched him in the head. A searing pain shot up my arm.
"Son of Victoria!" I yelled.
Everyone including me laughed at what I said. Then someone complained they couldn't breathe and we all laughed harder.
"I get it!" Emmett yelled, "Because Victoria is a-"
"Emmett!" I yelled, "You need to stop!"
"Stop what?" He yelled.
"Being annoying." Edward said.
"Like that’s possible." Jasper threw in.
"Hey Emmet," I said, "I know where you can get help."
"Where?" Everyone said. Alice grinned, but kept quiet, not wanting to spoil it.
"Oh, it's www . zip it . com!" I said grinning.Everyone laughed.
Emmett said, "Why is everyone so mean to me?" He jutted out his lower lip.
"Aw! Not buying it!" Alice said.
After we were all able to breathe everyone left for the day and Edward and I went for a walk around Port Angeles. Finally we came across a vending machine and I was thirsty. Edward waited patiently as I started to insert the coins.
His phone buzzed and it flashed to his ear, "Alice?" He said, just as I put in the last coin."I-...calm down Alice… Fine!" He said, "Here." He handed me the phone.
"Bella! Oh you are going to be so upset! Please tell me you didn't get the soda yet!” She said.
“No I just put the coins in.” I said, then I realized, “My Quarter!”
Alice suddenly snickered, “Have a nice hour!” Then hung up.
“You know, these things return coins in a cycle.” I said.So in that whole next hour we sat at that machine getting returned coins, checking them, and putting then back in. Bless Edward for sticking with me. After we finally got the coin back I went home and framed it.
“You know,” Edward said as we were walking back home, “I just realized I could have torn open the machine and gotten it out.”
I smacked my forehead and went home, praying Alice didn’t blab. We’d never live this down.
