Jacob.... Vampwolf?

We were home, and Edward was busy transporting his entire music collection to our new house.

Alice, Jasper and I were in the kitchen reliving the game of freeze tag.

It was the very middle of a conversation when her eyes suddenly went blank. She was staring off, her mind lost to other thoughts.

"Alice, what are you seeing?" Her hands were gripping the wooden barstool so tightly the wood had begun to crack.

As she gazed into space, Jasper lovingly and cautiously pried her fingers of the armrests and held them.

Then she took a deep breath and relaxed her head back into the tall chair.

"Welcome back, my darling." Jasper said as he collected the loose strands of hair in front of her face and tucked them behind her ears.

She sat, gasping.

"Oh Jazz! The Volturi!," She whispered, "All dead."

"What?" Jasper stood. Alice just shook her head and stared at the ground.

"How?" I gazed into her unresponsive eyes.

Edward was whistling as he walked down the hallway with a stack of CD's in his hand.

"Edward! Read Alice's mind! She had some vision!"

Edward walked over to her and five seconds later his eyes widened with shock.

He let go of the CD's, but I caught them easily before they crashed onto the tile floor.

"For God's sake tell us!" Jasper yelled.

"Gather the family Bella." Edward's eyes locked on my face.

I couldn't decipher the emotion that rained out of them - Confusion? Desperation? Fear?

I raced upstairs to alert Esme and Carlisle, then back down to the garage where Rosalie and Emmett were located.

When I entered the living room and sat down, the rest of the family had just settled in.

Edward stood up, as well as Alice.

" Well. My vision started in the stone tower, everything was so quiet. I looked down, and saw Aro and Caius. They weren't alive," her voice quieted," they weren't in one piece.

"Then," she continued, "it moved to the dungeon, where Alec and Marcus were, well, torn apart. Then," her voice shook slightly," the scene traveled to the guards' quarters and there were pieces of them everywhere. The vampires were all slain. No one was left alive.

"But the problem is, I couldn't see who did it, and everything that happened before that was a blur, unclear, and fuzzy.

"And one last thing," she paused and took a deep, steadying breath, "the last view was of Jane. Running. Running from something. She's coming here."

It was silent as the family absorbed the information.

Edward was the first to speak.

"Now. We all know there must have been at least three hundred vampires that make -or now-made- up the Volturi Guard. Someone must be very strong or have unimaginable numbers to defeat them. And we also know the one thing that makes Alice's visions blurry and un-seeable.

"Werewolves."

Carlisle turned his neck toward Alice.

"How are you sure Jane is coming here?" he asked.

"I saw her get on a plane to Seattle." She nodded. " And also, if everyone is dead, where else does she have to go? We are the most welcoming and definitely strongest coven she knows. She'll come here fore safety and defense. Safety from whatever she's running from."

I finally recollected my loose thoughts.

"Wait, so you're saying there are more werewolves in the world besides La Push?"
