All she can do is fight. Fight, and never back down or give up. Never show any hurt or pain, be brave and show her enemies a strong face. War is a hard thing to do. Bella Swan is close to just losing it. Her fiance is kept down with the power of another Volturi member, who is ruthlessly trying to capture her and all of her family-siblings and Cullens. She's the only one who can stop the fight. But can she find it in herself to do it? Sequel to Deceiver.
Most charecters are owned by Stephenie Meyers. Becka, Aaron, Alex, KJ, Jasmine and the new Volturi members are all just a prt of my imagination that I created to go with the plot.

“Please, why the hell am I doing this? You all know Italian just as well as I do! You go teach a bunch of humans if you want it done so badly,” I said angrily to my sister.
She smirked at me, her blue eyes twinkling. She was in her human disguise, standing outside an older looking building that housed the small college near the apartment we were sharing with Aaron and Alex.
“You should do this because one, you’re the smartest, two, you’re the most experienced and three, you have more patience than the rest of us,” she said matter-of-factly.
I grumbled slightly to myself on her logic. She was right on everything she said. “But I still don’t get why we need to do this. Isn’t it better not to root down somewhere right now?”
She bit her lip, acknowledging the truth in my logic as well. A few weeks ago, my fiancé and true love had been kidnapped by the Volturi and their few new members who wanted my siblings and me to return to Italy to serve them like the slaves they’ve always wanted.
Finally, she spoke. “Be that as it may, we do need the money. The account we have with KJ is closed right now, and we can’t keep getting money from the Cullens. It could be traced or something and that would just cause more trouble.”
I crinkled my nose in defeat. “Fine, I’ll take the stupid job. When’s my interview?” When she didn’t respond, I glared at her suspiciously. “You didn’t set up a job interview, did you?”
She shook her head, grinning at me impishly. “Alex already made them forget you didn’t have an interview. Your job starts tonight at five o’clock.”
I gaped at her. “And what if I said I wasn’t going to go work for some humans to try and teach them Italian? What would you have done then?”
Becka shrugged. “Alex would have just made the professor person forget he forgot anything. It really isn’t that hard to do you know,” she said, raising her eyes at me as I looked at her disbelievingly.
“No, it wasn’t that,” I explained. “I’m just shocked you guys went to such measures to get me to have a job. It’s actually quite admirable,” I added with a laugh.
Becka rolled her eyes at me. “Whatever. You should start to get ready; it’s almost four thirty,” she said, nodding to the clock on the wall in the kitchen behind us.
“Crap!” I said, running to my room before giving her a dark glance, which she returned with a sarcastic smile. I sighed at her antics, before remembering I had been like that too awhile ago.
We were in our new apartment, which we shared with our brothers Aaron and Alex. Alex was Becka’s mate, and Aaron was everybody’s friend. I had a mate too, but he was prisoner in the Volturi.
My heart clenched at that direction of thought, and I quickly thought about what was going to happen tonight. I couldn’t believe I got tricked into teaching, but I saw the real intentions behind it. I had been moping around and researching multiple things that could help us fight the Volturi for the past few weeks, totally ignoring what was happening around me. No wonder my family got sick of it and tried to do something to get me out of the house and doing something somewhat human.
I quickly got on gray dress pants and a blue quarter sleeve turtleneck sweater to cover up my multiple bite scars. I knew that no human would really see them, but I didn’t want to take any chances. They sparkled in the light—even when I shifted to my human disguise—and that could attract a lot of unwanted attention.
I went into the bathroom, and pulled my hair up into an elegant bun that would have made Alice proud. I put on some hazel eyeliner to enhance my brown eyes, and just a bit of blush to take away how pale I was.
As a human, I had been very pale but now I was even more, though I still appeared human. There was so little blood in me now to color my face that I looked slightly ill all the time.
Going into the small hallway, I grabbed my grey knee length jacket and walked over to the door, grabbing an umbrella and my car keys. It was raining slightly, and I didn’t want to get the seats of my car all wet.
I sighed as I walked at an inhuman pace out the door. I was invisible, so I didn’t have to worry about anyone somehow seeing me. And if they did, who would even listen? They would be called drunk first.
I walked outside and smiled at the slight of my new car. A shiny black 2008 mustang Shelby GT500 MSRP with a single red racing stripe going down the ceiling of the car onto the hood and trunk. It was my special little convenience from the Cullens, and I took very good care of it.
Smiling to myself at the memory of my two brother’s reaction to the sports car, I quickly got in, shoving the keys into the ignition. The car smoothly purred to life, much quieter than my old Chevy. With memories in my mind, I sped to the small college at the edge of town.
